Nora and I have colds. Nora is very nasally however there is nothing really coming out of her nose. I have the humidifier running at night while she's sleeping as well as using the saline drops - however when I suction her nose with the aspirator only a little bit of snot comes out. It doesn't seem to be affecting her mood, her sleep or her eating so should I just ride it out. It sounds so horrible and like it bothers her alot. I don't remember ever dealing with this with Harrison - with him it was always coughing and congestion.

My Pedis say to keep the humidifier and the sailine drops going. Also try to take her into the bathroom after you've had the shower running for a while, and shut the door the steam can hep too.

If it sounds bad enough take her in. Seamus had to have breathing treatments once because his never went away.

For the first bit of Dustin's life he had what seemed like a continuous cold! He was always so stuffy and stuff... but not many boogers in his nose. I did humidifier and shower steam and saline drops. He just outgrew it.

J.J just had that for a week. We did saline, snot sucking, and steamed him three times a day. I also gave him 1 booby milk bottle a day and it seemed to clear up his cold (although made him extremely fussy and cranky)

Thanks ladies for all the advice. It's going on the third week this weekend and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I might just call the doctor on Monday.....just to make sure it isn't anything worse than a cold.

I hope she feels better Keri! I'm also a big fan of the steam-filled bathrooms!
