Ahhhhhhh!!! I cannot believe it is sooo close! Is it just me or has this summer FLOWN by?? We are so excited its almost unbearable! lol Somehow I am more calm the closer it gets and I just want it here!!!!! We went and got our marriage license yesterday!!!! Okay heres the 7 day rundown!
Friday Sept 11-
*Go tanning
*CLEAN the house for jasons bachelor party, he is not a bar scene type of guy so he just invited like 20 guys over and their gonna go golfing during the day and then dinner and they got a keg and he set up a beer pong table in the basement and we have our pool table too and then their gonna have a bonfire at night. (his bachelor party is tomorrow)
*Meeting with the officiate and going over the final ceremony rundown. Adding in the hand ceremony that I found and really really love!!
Saturday Sept 12-
*go tanning
*Going over to my sisters, running to the mall to get a few more new dresses for the honeymoon
*Going back to her house and finishing last minute wedding stuff (finish putting ribbon on the bubbles, iron on my rhinestone "AWJ 9.18.09" on the back of my white wedding day zip up hoodie....etc)
Sunday Sept 13-
*Go tanning
*Pack for our honeymoon!!! (we are going to be wayy to busy throughout the week to do it then)
*Go meet with the live music guys one last time to hear my song! (My step dad and his old bandmate are playing Canon in D on the acoustic guitar for me to walk down the aisle and last time i heard it, it sounded beautiful!!!)
*Go pick up Jasons tux, its already ready!!
*Make the wedding music CD for the ceremony part
*Try and relax one last time with my sweetie!! Before all the chaos hits!
Monday Sept 14- Have to work!
*Go tanning
*Call and verify wedding party bus pick up and drop off time and final payment amount
*Call and verify photobooth drop off and pick up time
*Call and verify makeup and hair appointments
*Make sure all the guys go get their tuxes!
*Take my ring to get it SUPER cleaned! I really wanted to do this on like Wednesday because once its cleaned i really dont want to wear it and get it dirty but I have too much to do later in the week
Tuesday Sept 15- Took off work this day because roses are being delivered to my house and they cant sit there on the porch, they need to be put into water and the refrigerator ASAP
*Go tanning
*Sit around and wait for roses to be delivered!
*Once their delivered cut a small amount off of each stem (125 roses!) and place in the big vases of water in the refrigerator
*Then grandma, sis, and a bridesmaid are coming over to help me assemble the 5 bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, and toss bouquet then put them back in their vases in the refrigerator (we are not cutting them to the length that they should be until the morning of the wedding, we did a trial run using this method and they lasted for 5 days looking exactly as they did)
*Grandma taking home 8 roses with her to put on the top of the cake she is starting to work on the next day (9.16)
Wednesday Sept 16- Working 1/2 day if I feel like I am doing okay on my to do list
*Grandma working on cake, so I have to run and get the really pretty cakestand for her that I rented (i wanted this specific one and to buy them they were like $200+ so i rented one for $25!)
*Bring that all the way down to her house (Boo! She lives like an hour from the store im renting it from!)
*Go tanning
*Go to the ceremony location and do all the decorating! (with grandma and sis when grandma is done with cake)
*Nail and pedicure appointment at 630 with bridesmaids
*Get rehearsal dinner outfit and shoes out and ready because Thursday is going to be busy
*Get my wedding day bag together
Thursday Sept 17- OFF work until 9/30!!!
*Wake up early have aunt come over and look at bustle and "practice" as she says lol because she will have like 1.5 minutes to get out of the church and bustle it for me before all the guests start coming out for the receiving line
*Go tanning
*Get airbrush tanning on my booby-upper chest area if needed (i have BAD swim suit lines ive been trying to get rid of and if their not gone by the day before the wedding i have to get airbrushed to even it out
*Meet sis and grandma at reception site to get all the decorating done, set up candy bar (covering the jars with seran wrap of course!) this will take quite a while
*Get together everything to take to the church for the rehearsal (CD, marriage license, guest book, pen...etc) load up my car
*Check jasons bag that he will be taking to his parents (he is staying there the night before the wedding) make sure he has everything that he'll need! (especially the rings and his tux, pocket square, vest, tie...etc!)
*Rehearsal at 6!!!
*Rehearsal dinner at 7:45 (the church is pretty far from where we all live)
*Say goodbye to jason! The next time ill see him will be when i walk down the aisle!!!!!!!!!!
*Look through wedding day bag and make sure i have everything! (touch up makeup bridal undies, earrings, bracelet...etc were getting ready at the church)
*Get on JM and update you girls and share a few rehearsal pics!! (Then on Friday Michelle (MrsMike) will be updating the same thread with updates from me and a few teaser pics!!)
*One of my bridesmaids will be spending the night with me at our house
Friday Sept 18-
WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!
*Wake up at 6:30 try to eat some breakfast!
*The other girls are coming over at 7
*Hair appointment at 8
*Airbrush makeup appointment back at my house at 10:30 (were gonna have to drive two seperate cars to the hair appt because i think im gonna have to leave early to make it back to my makeup appt)
*All the girls should be back at my house by 11:30
*Leave for the church at 12
*Get there at 1
*Start getting dressed/ready at 1:30
*Jason and the guys will arrive at 1:30
*Get married at 2pm!!!!!!!
*Party bus picks us up at 3 we go to a park and St. Louis arch for pictures!
*Reception at 7pm!
*Go home (yes, at this point, we are still going home after our wedding
I want a hotel!) TRY and sleep because we are leaving for our honeymoon at noon the next day!!!
Okay, im sorry I really used this as my to do list
Once i got started i couldnt stop, so im gonna copy and paste and print it!!!
Did I mention I CANT WAIT??????????????????????
