is not going so hot. Instead of gaining weight, like I've really been trying to do, I'm still losing. I've lost another 3 lbs which puts me at 9 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight.
Fortunately I'm craving some cheese fries smothered in sour cream and cheese cake right now. Too bad I don't have any of it in the house. I might send Ian out to get me some when he gets home!

Oh the cheese fries w/ sour cream sounds really yummy!! I hope you arent going to mix in the cheesecake! But cheesecake alone....heaven! I would think that would help gain weight. I know I gained 5 lbs just thinking about it!

No, that would be gross! Cheesecake needs to stand alone!
Sorry to get everyone hungry but I'm actually starving so if I have to suffer so do you all! Bright side, dh is bringing me home the stuff to make my cheese fries!!!!!
I haven't tried protein shakes Heather. I have a really hard time drinking anything I don't know if I'd get it down.

Are you loosing weight because of morning sickness?
I would like to gain a few pounds too. I'm 10 lbs under my pre pregnancy weight and I think I look too thin &DH prefers me to not look too thin.

I've only gained 2lbs this pregnancy, and I'm 28 weeks. My problem is I get full sooo fast, and a lot of things still make me feel sick. I mostly eat fruit, yogurt, and rice. I have been eating protein bars lately though, and I think that has helped.

I'd say its probably from the morning sickness but last time even after morning sickness finally subsided (around 21 weeks) I still had an extremely hard time gaining.
Good news is I think my morning sickness has hit the road!!! This is the earliest its gone away and I'm so glad!
I guess I'll just stick with the "I'll gain what I gain" philosophy and not stress over it. Baby was measuring 4 days ahead and Lochy still acts like he's getting milk so at least they're still getting what they need from me!

As long as the baby is growing and you arent throwing up/not eating and drinking, I wouldnt worry.
Try to eat small meals frequently. And snack on high calorie, but healthy things like nuts, hommus with pita chips, avacados (guacamole!) and whole grain chips. Or you can do my favorite not so healthy, but not horrible either, snack.....whole wheat toast with a whopping spread of nutella! (or you can just eat it from the jar. I do that sometimes too!).
I've gained about 8 lbs so far ....I'm gaining about 1 lbs a week. Those are pretty much the numbers the Drs say are ideal. And to do this i eat ALL the time. I fell like need to, my body asks for food...but I can understand if you arent eating like mad how you are losing weight. These babies are great calorie burners!

Yeah, I haven't thrown up since Tuesday when I kept nothing down. I just don't have much of an appetite, I'm sure it'll pick up soon though. My goal is a pound a week from here on out. I'm trying to eat things higher in calories but I still have a lot of aversions so we'll see. Good news is that since I woke up Wednesday I've felt perfectly fine and I'm actually keeping water down now with no problem!!!
