that DH and I are expecting a boy.  I got an early gender ultrasound for my birthday and today was the day!! Well he was not shy at all, he was snoozing away with his ankles crossed but was still showing off the goods. So much that the tech checked for a few seconds and it was 100% clear that he is ALL boy!!! Since it happened so quickly, we got to just watch him for the rest of the ultrasound. He woke up, yawned, stretched and rubbed his eyes. Then he shook his fist at us like an angry old man (with long fingers like me) and then started sucking on his thumb! He also got the hiccups and must have gotten bored with us just staring at him because he started doing somersaults and stared at us while standing on his head. All he needs is some old cardboard and he will be the next big break dancer!!!!
I am just so excited to be having a boy!!!! DH and I are thinking his name will be Nolan David, but we want to be sure before we start telling everyone. We both love it - we just want to make sure that it is right! Here are the pics:

Hahaha I didn't even THINK about that.....I'm not sure how DH feels about him, so I hope that he doesn't remember until its too late. He was the assistant coach for the Whalers for a year or so (and I'm a Canes fan)...so I guess that's not TOO bad.
I will get teased to no end if any of our Sabres friends draw that same connection!!! I just thought Nolan Ryan!!!
