I had my first prenatal appointment today. Everything went great! My doctor did a pelvic exam and said my uterus was big like it should be and that i'm definitely pregnant. She thought we might be able to hear the HB with the doppler because of my size (apparently being a smaller build helps). Unfortunately we didn't because baby was under my pelvic bone. DH and i talked there and decided to get an ultrasound after all. I couldn't wait until our 20 week u/s!  We are very happy with that decision. It was so amazing to see our baby and the heartbeat! Our little baby was moving so much. It was adorable  I'm already so in love. The heartbeat was 183. Baby is 2.70 cm long and is measuring at 9 wks 4 days which moves my new due date to April 25. Same thing really though  I don't have a scanner but i know you ladies wouldn't survive without seeing the pics so i took pics of them with my camera. They don't look as clear for this reason but here they are. In case you can't tell the head is on the left

So cute!!! I'm so glad everything is going so smoothly for you this time! I would've gotten the u/s too, it really helps to put your mind at ease to see that little heart beating away! I'm so happy for you Krista!

How exciting!!! And seeing that heartbeat is MUCH more fun than hearing it. I bet at your next appointment you will be able to hear it just fine. And you are getting close to the 2nd trimester too. YEAH!
