Ok, so I'm not gonna lie, I'm freaking out a tad. Last night Lochy plopped down on the bed with me and his elbow (with all his weight behind it) landed right on my belly. Now he's not a big kid, maybe 22lbs at this point, but still that's 22lbs right on the baby. And I have not felt it move since. No bleeding or cramping or anything and I'm sure everything is fine but I'd sure feel a helluva lot better if I could feel it moving around in there.

Do you have a dopplar or anyone who has one you can borrow? I am sure everything IS fine....but I know I always need PHSYCIAL proof to convince me 100% and bring my mind at ease.

No, I don't have a doppler and I don't know anyone that has one. I have my next appt. on Wednesday so I'll hear the heartbeat then. I guess I'm also just used to my babies being very active and this one just isn't so that's hard to get used to too. Even though this one is more mellow I still feel something everyday. Just hoping he/she puts my mind at ease soon and gives me a good swift kick!

Did you try drinking something to get baby moving? Oliver was never a big mover so I didn't worry about movement much. I'm sure everything is just fine. But I do understand your worry..

My niece was NOT active at ALL!! If she put something really cold on her belly thats when the baby would move....if at all.

Well, we have movement! I think the ice cold water helped. It was a small little roll type movement but it was something so my mind is at ease! After two very active little boys I guess I'm just going to have to get used to a more mellow baby.

What do you think you're having? Maybe its a girl and she's really relaxed.

And I agree with maybe putting a cold rag on your belly to see if that gets him/her moving more

I'm glad you finally felt some movement. I wouldn't worry, as everything is so padded now. I had a kid in my class hit my stomach so hard a few weeks ago, and it freaked me out, but it didn't seem to bother Kylie. I asked my doctor and he said most things will hurt me a lot more than her, as there is so much padding for them in there.

I've been told before 24-26 weeks, it is normal not to feel regular/daily movements. Not that you will worry less now...but the baby is still sooooo small. Many women dont feel anything at all at 15 weeks.

You're right, there is a lot of padding. I got kicked in the stomach by a kid at work when I was about 28 weeks with Liam and he was completely unphased by it all.

Once I start feeling movement I feel something no matter how small every day. So I just got myself worked up. I have continued to feel something everyday since the incident so I'm going to try and not worry. I'll feel better on Wednesday when I can hear the heartbeat again!

Thanks everyone!
