Man, you have pretty much covered!!! Just wanted to ask of you considered a nasal aspirator. I also didn't see any baby socks or hats and I think you kinda need those in the early days. And, you may need a few more wipes. I used a full pack with the meconium.

Great list Jessie! Just wanted to caution you on the infant ibufrofen drops. Double check with your Dr on when it is safe to use them. I work in a pediatric ICU and our Docs wont order it for babies less than 6 months. A couple of our docs wont even order it until they are at least 1 yr. New babies have immature kidneys and it can do damage.

^^ditto I was going to say that also
And for the gas drops---if you get the mylicon ones be warned they can cause constipation. An alternative is Gripe Water this is new favorite medicine! (works for troy we found out also!) But it helps with gas...plus icky tummy plus hiccups....Its a MUST IMO.

Thanks ladies. I just bought the ibuprofen because I was over in the states, and it's sold over the counter. Will definitely not be using it before 1 yr- it doesn't expire for several years. Anglela, I don't think I can buy gripe water over here in Germany... or at least I haven't figured out the translation yet

Yeah we were out of gas-x for my lactose intolerant hubby last night and I made a 8lb lasagna (6lbs of it was cheese!) and he was hurting...he used it and says it worked better then the gas-x! So now he wants me to find the adult version! LOL
