im like super over emotional today!! i feel like crying every 2 seconds. im just overwhelmed with baby stuff, all the guys at work showed me tons of baby pics when i got here (im filling in for someone whos on vacation, im hardly ever in the office anymore - its our family biz), one guys wife had her baby last night so i had to go buy a baby gift where i bumped into my friend who has 6 week old twins. babies are all conspiring against me today to make me cry with their cuteness! lol oh and to top it off AF showed after i had a real chance this past month. anyways this AF signals the first official TTC cycle for me and dh. im nervous and i feel like crying about it, dang AF and all the hormones she brings!
oh great news just while im typing this! dh wants to go to dinner jsut me and him tonight. i am going to tell him that this is the cycle we TTC! i wonder what his reaction will be......

welllllllllll he is still on board! we are TTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow it felt good to actually type that lol
so the night didnt go exactly as planned. dh ended up wanting to go for dinner with his friend and her husband too, so i couldnt tell him that this was the month until much later. but i told him after and he said he was wanted to try for a boy (using shettles) which i am cool with. kinda a bummer that we cant just have tons of sex non stop but i'm game for trying for a boy since i dont care either way which gender we have. so i estimated the due date as being July 17 based on ovulation. which i know is not a Leo baby (another thing we were trying for), but I have read that first time moms on average go about a week "over due", so an appropriate average due date would be July 24, which is a Leo baby! Plus then if it doesnt work this month maybe we can still get a Baby Leo EDD if we try again the next cycle. I have always planned on adding a week to whatever EDD the midwife gives me, so I dont have ppl calling me at 40 weeks after LMP asking if i had the baby, our prenatal class educator (my friend!) told us this was really annoying for her cause she was something like 9 days past the 40 weeks. Anyways even if the little baby comes early it will be a Cancer which is a crab lol and dh loves crabs, wierd i know, so i think he'll be happy either way!
Wow sorry to blather on! off to find some TTC blinkies!
oh my GAWD!!!!!! IM TTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

YAY!!! It's about time! How long have you been a member of WTTC? It seems like a couple years.
Why are the two of you so set on having a Leo baby? I'm a Leo. If you don't get pregnant the first two cycles you will keep trying, right? Oh... and not to burst your hubby's bubble but shettles didn't work for us. We didn't try for anything but based on that method we should have a girl!
GL!!

yay!!! This is such an exciting time for you guys!! So do you plan on temping and using OPKs? Or just going to BD often and see what happens?
Good luck! Hope your TTC is short and sweet.

yeah its been i think 2 years now that i've been wanting but waiting here on wttc board. ok ........so here's our game plan! lol dh is going to do the 'right' things to increase sperm count (ie. boxers and no dtd 4-5 days prior), and i am going to use OPK strips and CM to identify O time. I'm not going to be temping because I will be travelling and switching time zones so I thought it would kind of be pointless. plus i have good CM that seems pretty indicative of O time. then we are going to use Shettles method for a boy, BD-ing on O day, or timing it within 12 hrs of impending O based on the OPKs. I have some pre-seed so I will use that too just to be sure conditions are good. Also I am thinking about using the diva cup after BD to keep the swimmers in there, has anyone else tried that? I noticed they sold instead cups on early-preg-test.com so I figured the divacup would do the same thing. It's going to be so tough not drinking and decreasing caffiene after O time in europe! they have such good coffee and wine there!
if it doesnt work this cycle i think we will try the next cycle too, and i'm hoping we keep trying till we get a bfp, i think we're gunna cross that bridge when we get to it though, we havent really talked about it. my dh knows how bad i want a baby, and i gotta figure he would continue to ttc if it doesnt work these next two cycles, cuz stopping would just be mean! i'm really trying to make the best of these two cycles...i might even pray!
