Harrison has the flu

I feel so bad for my little guy....however he seemed 100% better today than yesterday. The doc said it was probably swine flu but didn't test for that particular strain. He was already about 5 days into his symptoms....we took him as soon as he got a fever but he's had a stuffy/runny nose for about 4 days prior to that. They said there is nothing to do except motrin, fluids and rest. He laid around most of the day yesterday but today was playing. His fever was around 103 this morning but the rest of the day he's been int he 98's.

We were suppose to go to my parents lake house where my uncle was coming to baptize Nora and my other aunt, cousin and her little boy were coming too....so everybody is there but us the guests of honor. I think everyone is going to drive from the lake to my parents house (which is 40 minutes from us - the lake is 3 hours from us) on Sunday and we'll do the baptism then.

Man this sucks!

Aw, poor little guy. Glad to hear that the symptoms weren't too bad, though. I hope that the baptism can be done Sunday instead and is just as special for Nora.

I hate they are telling people you have swine flu and not testing them for it! UGH its messing up the national numbers! Sorry Just need to vent that out a little.
I'm so sorry you little one is sick..hope no one else gets it and that he has a speedy recovery!

Oh dear! I hope he gets better real soon. I hope the baptism can still be done as well.

Awh poor baby! I'm glad he is doing better. I hope the baptism goes well even if you had to move it. Feel better Harrison! (((HUGS)))

Thanks girls! He's doing much much better. We are having the baptism tomorrow at my folks house down here....my uncle whose doing the baptism is going way out of his way (in a driving sense) to come down here so I am so so so thankful to him for that!
