To use used cloth diapers??? I was thinking that there has to be tons of people who just have cloth diapers sitting around that there babies dont' fit in anymore!! Im she I could some diapers that are pre loved for a very good price!! Any thoughts?? I would think with the proper cleaning techniques it would be just fine!!

To me yes I do think it's gross, but only for me haha. If you check out diaperswappers.com they sell or trade used cloth diapers Lots of people have gotten some great deals!!!

I know people do it. I'm sure with proper cleaning, it is sanitary. But still, I wouldnt buy used underware/bras for myself or DH. If you are comfortable with it, dont feel bad.

I have quite a large stash of cloth diapers already... the one little baby collection I allow myself. A few of them are used. It doesn't bother me a bit. When I wash them, I just add a tablespoon of bleach. (the fabric care directions say not to, but I feel like they are really clean then) These diapers are in great shape, and I was able to buy most of them for less than half price. Though nothing beats the softness of a NEW diaper.

I agree... With the proper cleaning I don't think it would be a bad thing!

90% of mine are used. I look at it this way----all the linen at hospital/hotels are used also...so proper cleaning and your good!

I thought it was gross till we needed them. I'd say that 85-90% of my diapers are used. As long as they are washed correctly (and I'd suggest stripped) before use they are just fine. Its loads cheaper for people to buy used, though I know for some money isn't an issue. Katie gave me almost all of mine, and I've won quite a few, bought one(accidentally...dont mess on hyenacart unless you know what your doing), and I've won 2 FFS(free for shipping) lotto's on DiaperSwappers.

I've always felt a bit grossed out by it. But TONS of people do used and they clean up fine. That said, I do have one used diaper and it's from Angela's boy London. For some reason it seemed okay to me to put Matthew in London's diaper, because I "know" him.

I don't think it's gross as long as they don't LOOK super worn. I wouldn't want to see stains- I would want to pretend like they were new

I don't really think it's gross. As long as they are very clean and no stains I would be okay with it. I don't have any used but I have sold some of Oliver's.
