[Adriana's Mommy]

Sorry I haven't been around lately.. Between working full time, moving to our new house, and having to deal with lots of appointments weekly.. I've been on the busy side..

As for my pregnancy.. Everything is going good so far.. My blood sugars ( I have Gestational diabetes if you don't remember) have been great.. I only had to see my Endo once during my 3rd trimester and I don't need to see her again until 6 weeks after I have the baby.. YaY!! My baby boy is measuring right on track now. I had a little scare when I was 33 weeks.. The U/S measured him at 6 lbs 3 oz's at 33 weeks.. I thought I was going to have a 10 lb kid!! Which is scary since my last baby was a 6 pounder.. lol But I had a U/S last Monday and he now weighs 6 lbs 7 oz's, estimated of course.. Which is a great relief for me.. lol So he will more then likely be a normal size baby.. Woo Hoo!! I do hope he is bigger then Adriana was because Adriana is such a petite little girl. I hate for my son to be short as well.. lol There's also no talk of induction yet.. I'm measuring a week ahead ( I was the same way with Adriana) and my doctor hopes I go into labor on my own.. Which I doubt I will.. lol My Dr. will let me know the plan about induction when I'm 38 weeks..

My son is more then likely going to be born with a TON of hair.. No surprise though.. If you see my hair and my DH you would understand why he will have so much.. Here's a U/S picture of my son with his hair floating.. In the picture you see the back of his head and to the left you see a bunch of white stuff and a arrow pointing to it.. That white stuff is his hair.. I think he's going to have more hair then Adriana did when he's born.. He's going to need a fade ASAP.. lol



As for my daughter, she's doing great.. She had her 24 month check up the other day and she's dropped in the percentiles since her last check up.. She's now 25 lbs ( 35th percentile ) and 33 inches long (25th percentile).. She's also going to be starting pre-school in a few months.. She's just growing up way to fast.. Here's a recent picture of her..



And our house was completed on the day the builders said it would be.. woo hoo!! We actually closed on Adriana's birthday.. What a gift huh? Here's a picture of our house.. The grass is starting to get a little green, but it's been cold here the past few days so I don't think we'll see green grass until Spring..


Other then that, life is great.. God has been so good to us.. We are truely blessed..

I have some good news.. I finally have my induction date!! Anthony is due to arrive next Friday!! But I may have him sooner.. As of today, I'm measuring 38 weeks, 3.5 cm dilated and 70 % effaced.. I don't know if this means I'll have him in the next few days or not, but I'm kinda hoping too.. I also got both season flu and the H1N1 shot today.. I'm vary happy I was able to get both shots while I'm pregnant.. I pray that some kind of immunity goes to my baby boy.. I wouldn't have gotten the H1N1 shot if I didn't work in a health care setting..

Oh and I don't have any heartburn.. lol It's because I have to eat right with the diabetes and all.. Adriana was born with a head full of hair, so it was no surprise Anthony has so much..
