The hardest part of it was trying to figure out my new sewing machine...LOL!! I made it out of Brown fleece(anti pill) and patterned flannel!! I used a terry cloth face cloth for absorbency and 2 layers(old t shirt) inside to make it thicker!! I also put elastic around the back and legs!! DH picked put the color and pattern(he thought brown would show poop less...LOL) My only issue is I don't have a baby to use them I so don't know what I need to change or if they even work...LOL!! I might make 30 of these for my baby and they don't even work!!! There are some things(like the velcro position) that I will change hen I make my next one!! Anyways, here are some pics!!

That is very cute!!!!! Looks just like what I am going broke buying.

One small thing - I would add what are called "laundry tabs" to the diaper. Just the soft velcro so that you can fold over the hooks when you throw it in the diaper pail. Laundry tabs keep the diapers from coming out in one super long chain when you wash because they all get stuck together.

That is SO adorable though!! I wish I had the courage to try it, and I've even got a sewing machine.

I'm sure you could find some moms that MAY be willing to TRY them out for you and give advice!
Ditto the laundry tab though--it ruins other ones when they get all stuck together.

They look awesome!

I wanted to comment about the laundry taps... the laundry taps on all of my cloth diapers never ever work. They always come undone in the wash. It's too bad because they snag up all my pretty diapers.
