I have had m/s for over a week now, but today I have thrown up 5 times...including toast and crackers, water, diet sprite. I dont want to use meds unless I am SUPER DUPER desperate. Do the preggie pops really work? What did you do when you had m/s to ease the toliet trips and nausea? Thanks!

Sour things helped me. Your brain can't process both sour & nausea and the same time, so the sour wins out.
Lemonade made extra strong - I took the lemonade crystal light and poured it in about 12 ounces of water. It gives it a little extra zing and makes you pucker your lips. Minute Maid also makes a "cherry limeade" fruit juice drink that is REALLY sour as well.
B-Natals - they worked a lot better than preggie pops for me. B-Natals are a B6 lollypop, they taste pretty good and the b6 is proven to help with morning sickness.
Sour Jollyranchers - the Blue Raspberry & Sour Apple worked the best. I basically just sucked on them constantly and that helped so much.
Sour Gummi Worms - they are a simple carb so eating them will take out the nausea and put something in your stomach. They break down fast so if you time it right, you can have a handful of gummi worms and then work in a "real" meal before your stomach is empty again.
Ginger Snaps - Forget eating crackers before you get out of bed. Get ginger snaps. They worked SO great, the ginger really works. No other form of ginger (ginger tea, candies) worked for me, but the ginger snaps worked SO great. Get the kind without the icing though, haha.
Sea Bands - they did work for me, you could give those a try as well.
Eating - I know it is hard, but being sure you at least eat something small & that you can stomach every 4 hours will really help. My nausea was always so much worse when I wasn't eating. Toast, crackers with peanut butter, I really loved pizza rolls.
I found taking my prenatal at night with water before bed helped too, because I wasn't trying to take it when I was feeling sick which would set off a whole new pattern of BLECH.
Also, my midwife recommended taking Unisom. It is marketed as a sleep aide, but it works GREAT with knocking out nausea also. It does make you sleepy, so I took a half a pill during the day and then a full pill before bed. They tell women with hyperemesis to take unisom and b6. It even helps with carsickness/motion sickness. It is available over the counter and is a lifesaver.
I had all day constant nausea, I only threw up twice but that was because I refused to throw up - I am a really bad puker. I cry and its just bad. But the all day nausea was pretty awful. They say it peeks around 8-10 weeks and around 10 weeks, I was morning sickness free with a few random bouts if I hadn't eaten in time. Once I convinced myself that if I ate, I would feel better, it made it a little easier.

I definitely agree with the prenatals thing. But even now a days, taking them before bed can be a culprit. the kiddie gummy vitamins (about 4 a day) work just as good or just folic acid.
Lemons and Limes, stock up on them! and ginger ale. and ice (I found that by eating the ice from a glass of ice water with a lot of ice, it helped my body to think that it was eating so I didnt get nauseous). Also as heather said, you will rarely get nauseous when you're eating unless you're eating something that your body just does not want to take (for me it was sweets). Cutting up apples into chunks can help to, that way you arent gaining unnecessary fat. And for me, starches worked wonders.
But the doc will probably give you Zofran for your nausea which I heard is like the best pill ever.
Jolly ranchers is also a life saver as heather said.
At night, I ate dinner and went STRAIGHT TO BED! Sometimes if I didnt, I'd regret that decision later. Getting full was another culprit for me, I always felt sick if I stuffed myself.
Also I get motion sickness sometimes so I'd have to keep a bag of chips in the car.
Every person is different so what may work for some may not work for others so you just have to keep trying different things. Like ginger snaps/cookies did NOT work for me.

Obviously I have no real experience, but I did want to say my sister CONSTANTLY had sour apple jolly ranchers in her mouth she swears they are the reason her morning sickness got better! She always had really bad nausea in the beginning of her pregnancy!

Ginger ale, sour jolly ranchers, also the Sea Bands worked wonders for me...some people say its a total myth and they didn't work at all for them but they were a lifesaver, I was eating pizza a couple hours after I put them on when I hadn't eaten anything but crackers and toast for a week.

I hope you find something that works! Sour never worked for me and I'm still getting m/s here and there but I have heard a lot of ladies even over here say that sour works good.

Yuck, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with m/s. I think there is something to the sour thing. All I can seem to stomach right now is sour stuff -- mainly stuff with mustard on it. Have you tried that? I haven't eaten a sandwich with mustard on it in ages, but that was the only thing I could eat for lunch last week! And I got down chicken strips with mustard as well. And of course the usual corn dogs, but those are awful for you so it didn't do me much good health-wise.

I hope you find something that works well for you. I never got morning sickness. I did wear the sea bands and had some preggy drops that I sucked on.

I tried Lemonade (because we had that at work) and its helping so far. I managed to keep 3/4 of my lunch down (pack of crackers and a slice of pizza) so thats good. I will invest in sour stuff tonight!!!

The only thing I ever got down consistently without bringing it back up was pretzels. Everything else was pretty much hit and miss, some days they worked, other days they didn't.
I love jolly ranchers!

I got some sour jolly ranchers (the hard kind, not the gummies) and they help a lot! They are yummy too.

I saw an episode of Myth Busters where they tried all different thing to ease nausea. The only thing that worked was ginger. The more straight ginger the better - ginger ale, ginger tea, and they even make ginger pills.
I only had ms (mild) for a week, so I'm no help! I just dealt with mine because it wasn't nearly as bad as yours! I never actually got sick.

ohhhh I remember mine being that bad with Morgan - I couldnt eat ANYTHING! Lost 17lbs too with this one, however, its very random and when it hits, its BAD! I also noticed that this time around I was worse off with the B6 than not taking it!! I started taking my prenatal at night Im going to try the jolly rancher idea - maybe in lemon too?

None of the non-medicine remedies ever worked for me. I ended up on Zofran for 10 weeks. That worked like a charm but backed me up.

I didnt have much m/s. But I also took 100mg/day of b6 throughout my first trimester also. I think that might have kept it mild.
