Our 3 yr anniversary is Wednesday. We decided not to buy gifts because there is nothing we really want. We agreed on just cards.
It's in the middle of the week, and we can get a sitter. But it's a huge pain to go out after he gets off work.
We didn't make a big deal last year either. It makes me kind of sad. It's a special day and we are too exhausted and broke to celebrate it.
Any suggestions at all?

We got each other cards and after our girls went to bed we had a glass of wine, read together in bed, gave each other massages while we talked, and then DTD

Do something romantic that doesn't take much money! It kinda depends on the weather in your area and what you guys like to do, but maybe a just you and him picnic or something like that?

We have never been big on celebrating our anniversary. We usually just go out to dinner or make something special. We always bring Oliver with us. How about doing something like that? Or waiting until the weekend to have a day/night out without Henry?
Happy Anniversary!

You can make a nice dinner or order in a dinner if that's possible. You could also play strip poker or a love hunt (something like a treasure hunt) or just watch a nice movie.
Happy Anniversary!

Going out to eat is a big deal to us. Or to a movie. We are also broke I don't even remember if we did anything this year... probably just said "happy anniversary". I guess it wasn't memorable whatever we did!

we usually do a dinner, either order in or go out, eat wayyy too much and drink good wine. you could make something yummy, a tried and true classic, that u both like and have some wine. that sounds like a wonderful time to me! we dont even worry about DTD lol we are usually too stuffed with good food on these important occasions!

I approve
I watched the Halloween special with Henry like 2 weeks ago and he seemed to really like it.

Maybe just get a sitter and spend time alone with each other.
I just got "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" for Landen! I can't wait to watch it together!
