I'm pretty sure Lochy has weaned. We almost made it to 26 months! My goal was 2 years so we surpassed that and I'm really happy! It's on his terms so that makes me happy too. I think my milk has changed over and the supply isn't there so he doesn't have the interest anymore. Plus lately he's been telling me side is yucky so I guess it doesn't taste the same either. I knew it was bound to happen around this point in pregnancy. We did make it 6 weeks longer than Liam did with Lochy's pregnancy! I'm a little sad that part of our relationship is over but I'm glad the weaning was on his terms. Plus I'll be doing it all over again in about 20 weeks or so!

Aww. It must be very bittersweet. I'm so happy you made it to your two year goal and he is weaning on his terms. I hope for the same sucess with Oliver. The great part is that you will have a brand new little baby girl to nurse! It would be a lot more sad if he was your last baby to nurse.

I agree, it must be very bittersweet, but how nice that you were able to do it as long as Lochy let you, and you won't have to tandem nurse!

You are my role model! I hope to get to 6 months with this baby, and being my last a year would make me incredibly happy

Thanks ladies! It is a bit bittersweet but I have to admit I am relieved I won't be tandem nursing, that thought was a bit overwhelming to me. I'll probably be sad when Lila weans since she'll be my last but assuming she goes as long as Lochy did that will be 7 years of being pregnant and/or nursing non stop so I may be eager to get my body back! LOL
