We went for our first doc appointment today. Doc gave me a weird vibe, but she is supportive of some of what I want for labor, so I like her. Anyway, we saw AND heard the heartbeat, which was AWESOME!!! DH and I are both in love! I didn't think we would be able to hear it yet... DH called "him" his warrior. DH said he saw him move (more like twitch), but I didn't get as good of a view as he did so I didn't see it.
We got a good view during the ultrasound, but the picture of the ultrasound is awful... you can't really see much of anything. DH is going to scan it tomorrow, so we'll see how it turns out.
Oh and I almost forgot! She based my due date off of my LMP, which kinda ticked me off since my cycles are wacky. She said EDD is May 29th, but I'm sticking with June 2nd (based off of O date).

Wow - you were allowed to 'see' the baby this early! You're so lucky! My midwife won't let me until I'm 12 weeks coz she said the chance of not seeing anything before that is really high and she doesn't want to stress me out if it's too early...
Congrats on your bean

That's so wonderful! It's the best sound ever, isn't it?
We have a recording of Lila's heartbeat in a stuffed animal and I play it all the time!
