I'm feeling a little sad that I won't be getting my homebirth this time. I will be back at the same birth center I had Lochy at so I know I'm in great hands with the midwives there and I will have a great experience and the birth I want (assuming no unforseen complications). But I really had my heart set on a homebirth and it's harder than I thought it would be to give that dream up. My insurance won't cover it and it's too much to pay out of pocket right now. Between Christmas, Liam's birthday, and my sister's wedding in Feb. we just can't swing the cost. This is our last baby so there is no next time either. I know it'll still be great and DH still plans on catching our baby but I can't help but to be bummed.
Aww! I'm really sorry. I didn't realize you were planning on a home birth... I don't know how I missed that. But it will be a wonderful experience regardless! And that is super cool that DH is going to catch the baby.

Thank you GraysMama for my beautiful siggy!
Thanks ladies. Lisa, you hit the nail on the head, it is just very disappointing. I know it'll still be great at the birth center though so at least I don't have to go to the hospital.
