It didn't go quite as planned because I was still sick with what I thought was the UTI. I followed up with my Dr. today and she thinks it wasn't a UTI at all. It wasn't a "clean catch" and I was having the pains the day before AF started. With the nausea and quick satiety she pressed on my stomach, asked if I had been taking my Prilosec {I had not-- that stuff is EXPENSIVE!!}. She thinks my tummy is totally irritated from my reflux {I don't get heartburn or taste acid} and that's what caused my other symptoms.
This has happened once before, at the end of the Spring 07 semester. I spent nearly two months on a bland diet, it was a mess-- I only have to do it for 2 weeks this time.
Other than that, I hope I'll catch up on posts tomorrow. Missed you girls!!

Ugh! Sorry your weekend wasn't as good as it could have been. I hope you were still able to have some fun. I also hope you're doing much better now.

I'm sorry you're weekend got ruined by that darn non-UTI... but at least your doctor has some insight into what it is now. Good to have you back!

Welcome back home! Are you feeling any better? I sure hope so. Don't they have a generic brand she can give you?

GL to you! My DH has the reflux and he stopped taking his "purple pill" for it--can't remember the drug. He tries to eat more regularly and takes the mylanta stuff before bed. Also, check out earth clinic for natural cures. A ton of people swear by apple cider vinegar which is tons cheaper than drugs
