I'm so excited and I needed to share! Chris and I are meeting with our first wedding venue on Tuesday! This is our #1 choice on paper so hopefully it will live up to our expectations IRL!! We are hoping to check out a few places over the next couple of months, and put down a deposit by Jan or Feb at the latest!

We went with the 2nd venue we looked at--the first was such a let down I got in the car and cried. Of course the tears were mostly because it was then we realized we had to scrap our entire original plan for our wedding and go with plan B.
I'm sure your meeting will go so great! Do you know what the place looks like?

Ohhhh how fun! Yeah, pics are a must! I hope it looks as beautiful are you are expecting. It must be so nice to be able to look at them while it is nice and cool outside. We looked at ours during the late spring/early summer heat in downtown San Antonio, not fun! We got quite sweaty and nasty.

I do know what it looks like! Well parts of it.. I've been there a few times, its a hotel and a friend of mine had her sweet 16 there.. I'm hoping my memory is accurate, because if so I should love it!

We loved it!!! It is perfect! Even better in person than we thought! We are going to look at a few more places in the next couple of weeks and then if this is still the one we are putting down a deposit! We both looked at each other on our way back to our car and said "this is the one" the price cant be beat, and I just found out that someone I went to school with had their reception there 3 years ago and loved it! I took pics of the indoor gazebo, but I think we decided to have ours in the ballroom, which I didnt get pics of! She gave us a few dates where it is going to actually be set up for a wedding so we can go back and take pics then. Our moms will be coming with us at that time also! I'm so excited!!

That is so exciting!! We looked at like 6 different venues before we found ours- but when you know, you just KNOW! When do we get to see pics?! Do they have a website??

they do have a website.. most of the pics are of the gazebo area where we wont be having our wedding, but there are a few in there that are of the ballroom. Their website is New England Weddings at the Holiday Inn Boxborough Woods, Boxborough Massachusett
I'm heading to work in 5 mins, but I'll put up some pics tonight or tomorrow.. most of the pics I have are also of the gazebo area, I'm going to wait until we go back and the room is set up for a wedding before I take pics of the ballroom.
