How are you all feeling?
Have you been shopping for baby items?
If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)?

How long will your maternity leave be or will you become a SAHM?
If you go back to work who will watch your LO?

How are you all feeling? I have been feeling great (knock on wood) other than waking up in the night to visit the bathroom.

Have you been shopping for baby items? We had the baby shower on Saturday so I need to finish going through and counting items to make sure I am not short on anything and figure out the necessities I am missing (a bathtub comes to mind). Still need to pick up some diapers and wipes too.

If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? I will try to make a shower/nursery post in the next few days as I go through everything.

Do you know what you are having yet? Still a surprise!!

How long will your maternity leave be or will you become a SAHM? I will be taking 12 weeks and then I will go back to work and DH will be taking the remaining portion of the school year (he is a teacher, mid Feb-June) unpaid to watch baby. We will send the little one to daycare starting the end of the summer.

If you go back to work who will watch your LO? DH and then daycare, as noted above.

My ticker is in the LAST BOX!!! And my doctor appointments are now WEEKLY!!!

Have you been shopping for baby items? yes! We had a shower but only got some big stuff and mostly clothes. We are gathering stuff slowly. We've got a bit more to get

How long will your maternity leave be or will you become a SAHM? My maternity leave will be 6-8 weeks but I'm thinking about taking extra time off until at least April

YIPPEE Kati - I cannot believe its so close! How nice that DH can watch baby a little longer before you send the baby to "school" (that's what we call daycare in our house - makes my little guy feel really cool I guess - since daycare is for babies in his eyes!). I am so glad that we had to wait until Nora was 4 1/2 months before the daycare had an opening....she started last week and being a bit older she can play and entertain herself more than if she would have gone weeks ago. Her teachers love her and I pretty much watch her all day on the internet cameras....its like the Truman show! Ahhh

How are you all feeling? Not bad. Still pretty tired with BH's several times a day and getting uncomfortable. But it could be worse!
Have you been shopping for baby items? No, not really. We have bought 3 outfits and the rest of the stuff has been shopping sprees from my Mom and MIL.
If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? I'll have to take some pics of what we have later, it's clothing overload!

How are you all feeling? Awesome! I finally got that great surge of 2nd trimester awesomeness. I still get tired but generally I feel really great and really beautiful. Of course I get it right when the 3rd trimester is right around the corner, haha.
Have you been shopping for baby items? Oh yes...got the swing, bouncer, car seat and almost all the cloth diapers. He has TONS of clothes & Grandma already spoils him like crazy. I'm not allowed to shop until AFTER my shower in January though, so I just shop by putting stuff on my registry, hehe.
If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? I don't really have pictures of anything....I will start taking them when I get my crochet hook out and make some things for him.

How long will your maternity leave be or will you become a SAHM? SAHM for a little while. I was working from home but my contract ended, so I am a SAH-wife. When Nolan is a few months old, I'll probably get a part time job just to get out of the house for a bit.

If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? We got our car seat but have to return it because it doesn't fit in our vehicle. We've also bought a few onesies and bibs.

If you go back to work who will watch your LO? I'm not sure. Probably a daycare.

Have you been shopping for baby items? Nope, we're waiting until after birth since we more or less have everything we need already left over from my son.

If you go back to work who will watch your LO? I wont be going back to work for a while, though I will be going back to school in a year or two to study to become a midwife and when I do my MIL will watch the kids.

How are you all feeling? Crappy most days but I'm pluggin along and just waiting for the end of the 1st tri in hopes that the nausea subsides when it's over.
Have you been shopping for baby items? We went and browsed BRU, more like, I went to show DH what we would need and how much things cost. I already knew these things from working there but he had no idea. We didn't buy anything yet but my mom did at a yard sale a couple weeks ago.
If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? I don't have any pics yet since it's at her house in NY but she got a boppy and a bouncy seat, and by the way she described it it's the rainforest one by fisher price

How are you all feeling? Overall, pretty great. Baby is kicking away (and they arent hurtful kicks yet, so yay!), I have been keeping active, and really no complaints. I sometimes forget I'm pregnant.

If so what have you gotten (share pictures!)? I've bought most big things. The furniture and car seat are bought. Just wating for the furniture to arrive. I've also bought a diaper bag(s) (one pretty one and a sturdy one), and a few clothes.

Here is some of the furniture. I also bought a matching bookcase and a plush rocking chair that is cream canvas with green striping.

I have the bigger version of this dresser. It is double wide.

How long will your maternity leave be or will you become a SAHM? Maternity leave is 2 months, then I'll go back to work to finish my contract out for 2 months. Then I'll be a SAHM.

If you go back to work who will watch your LO? It is being to be very very hard on us those 2 months I have to go back to work. I work a 12-13 hr shift...plus I have an hr communte each way, plus it isnt mon-fri DH has unpredicable work hrs as well. So day care is not an option for us. My mother is going to try and fly back and forth for awhile while I'm at work. MIL will also come out for a bit. I am working on finding a back-up nanny here, but they are so expensive ($15-20/hr).

Thank you!!! It is really nice to get positive feedback on a name...especially when you AGONIZE over it like we did. Sometimes people think I am saying "Owen" when I say his name, I think because of my southern accent up here. So far the only person who doesn't like it is my Grandma....she has nicknamed him "NoNo".

Then again she wanted us to name him Seth....Seth Szczepanski (Suh-Pan-Ski). That's just asking for your child to have a lisp.
