Yeah weren't you someone who was thinking they wouldn't try breastfeeding while you were pregnant? What was the thing that made you change your mind? I'm always interested in knowing!

I was never 100% sure what I wanted to do. I just always said I was going to bottle feed because I didn't want to feel pressured to breast feed and in case I chose not to I didn't want to feel like I was disappointing anyone. Not really by you girls but all the pushy army wife buddy's from around here. When I was about 30 weeks is when I decided to pump and bottle feed. Then after a doctors appointment that I told my doctor I was going to pump Chris freaked out and was all "your not going to feed your own baby from your boob, that's f'ed up". Yep so much for not feeling pressured right lol!!! I am very glad I did and I'm sure in the end I would have even if Chris left his opinion to him self lol!! I even at first was only going to do 6 months, then that came too quick. So I said 1 year and he's cut off for sure. But now he has until he is 2 to self ween then he is SERIOUSLY this time cut off LOL!

my friend BF'ed until her son was like 3 i think, and i had never seen an older baby nursing (i'm from a small town, u do what ur mom tells u mainly) and i thought it was sweet. i wanna BF for a long time too

My mom BF my little sister until she was almost 5. I don't think I could go that long lol!!! But bf now that Landen is older is very stressful at times, but I have never enjoyed it more if that makes scene. He is just so sweet about it clapping and hugging me when he is done. He is just so sweet .
