AF is here... but not? I went to my drawer of pregnancy tests to throw this months lot out. There they are shining BFPs at me. This has to be some cruel evap trick. I peed on an opk, and theres a good amount of color to it. Not positive though. I took my temp, and it's 99 degrees. I don't have any more pee to take a pregnancy test. I'm bleeding bright red blood and having cramps, but my period is much lighter than usual. What is going on?!

I don't know what to tell you Alice. I'm sorry... did you POAS today and it was positive or evap? or were they old ones?

Hmmm... the only thing to do is to retest... that is unless you really want to wait out your AF to see if it gets lighter/goes away. I mean, you technically could be having a chemical, but do you really want to know if it is, or just go about your merry way as if it was a normal AF? Then again, I've heard stories of women who have AF (or other kinds of early bleeding) and have sticky beans. Tough situation. KUP if you do retest!

I retested and got BFN. So I guess I feel better. Stumped on why my temps are so high though. Guess this AF is just extra witchy

Ugh. I think our bodies do wacky things when we want to it be the most regular. I wish it was easier, simplier, less painful...I really think your baby is right around the corner though.

Ugh!! Sorry about all the confusion. I'm still rooting for you and you'll get that BFP pretty soon!

I'm pulling for you to get a sticky bean soon! I hope AF is quick and painless and you can move on. Weird about the tests, though. But try not to dwell on it!

I don't think this helps but on Peeonastick.com there is a story about how the creator took a test and then threw it in a drawer. She pulled it out for a story a few days later to look at the brand, etc and it was positive. She knew she wasn't pg so she took another test and BFN. That's why there's a time limit on those things! Good luck next cycle!
