I have a nice dress pair from Boden www.bodenusa.com

They were expensive, but I waited for their sale and bought them for 40% off

I also have some brown riding boots from DSW. I've seen really cute boots all over though. Nordstroms, Nine West, Aldo all have had really nice boots this year.

Try Wide & Narrow Calf Ladies Boots | Width Fitting Women’s Shoes if you have a hard time getting the right calf fit.

Steve Madden's are always my stand by's. I have about 10 pairs of boots ( yes I know I have a problem ) and most are Steve Madden's. Are you looking for heels, flats?

I Love this color and style but can only wear them for so long. I guess cause there really narrow.
Steven by Steve Madden 'Intyce' Boot - Flat Boots - Nordstrom

I just bought these when I was in Seattle and they are SO comfy! I have them in black and I might by them in the other color. I can wear these ALL day at work
Steve Madden 'Frenchh' Engineer Boot - - Nordstrom

I have 2 pairs just like this but from years back. 1 blk and 1 brown. Totally comfy!
Steve Madden 'Tyller' Boot - - Nordstrom

Uggs of course but Ive only worn them twice. I bought them in kid's size so it saved some money. It's just to hot here.

As much as I love these and they were pricey there not very comfy. There really heavy, but cute on!
Frye 'Harness 12R' Boot - - Nordstrom

Hope that helps!

Erin, I am sending the link for the variable calf size boots to my mom. She has the hardest time finding anything that fits.

Amy, thanks for all the links! Didn't you once say Nordstroms has a good return policy? I don't have one in town.

Free Shipping and you can have stuff sent to you from the store or order online. You can always return what you dont want In store or ship back. Where's the closest one from you? Let me know if you need anything, Im working right now for Xmas time. Let me just tell you I returned a pair of Nylons STILL IN PACKAGE and sealed from 1988! Nordstrom let's you return anything, as long as you have a tag, receipt or we can look it up your card. No matter how old it is!

Try ebay Beth! If you find a reputable seller (power seller) you can get them for cheaper! There are also TONS of places in the malls that sell boots that look just like uggs in all different colors!

I guess that would depend on your personal sense of style... do you have a preference? Or are the shoes you own mostly black/brown? If so, I would go with the opposite of what is filling your closet I am a big fan of brown boots myself. They look really cute with jeans or leggings. But with that style of boot, I would be very tempted to get one of each! They are CUTE!

Ooooh, I have those steve madden boots in grey, they look great with a pair of black leggings and a dark grey sweater dress. I was going to say, if you want winter boots, Uggs, definitely. This year I am getting a pair for both of my girls for cmas. And you can find them at decent prices on ebay.
