Today is day 10 of being diaper free!!! I know its only for a few more months and then I'll be back at square one with Lila but I'm so proud of my little man for being such a big boy!!! Lochy has been so eager to be a full time potty boy and now he is! I feel bad though because he's been ready since July but with my morning sickness, the fatigue, and my FIL's heart attack the consistency just wasn't there on my end. We also had a hard time finding underwear that fits him since he's small for his age. But he was patient with me and waited til I was ready to really devote the time to get him going. The first 2 days he had a little poop timing issue--meaning he'd tell me as he was going--so we had a couple accidents to clean up but he's been great ever since. I think the second seat for the upstairs toilet helped a lot since he and Liam tend to poop at the same time of day and thats where the accidents were coming into play. To my surprise though he's been completely dry for his naps and overnight too so he's really out of diapers!!! He's so incredibly proud of himself and so am I! Just had to share.

What a big boy! It seems that he was an early learner because I heard most boys are completely trained between 3-4. Now you get a little break before you start all over.

That's awesome Jenn! He deserves the right to be proud!!! Harrison got day time training by Loch's age but no way was he going thru the night - that didn't happen until Jan before his third birthday so about 2 years and 9 months....so way to go Lochy!!!!

Harrison is small too - he is closer to 4 than 3 and still wears the 2T undies....its sad because sometimes he wants a certain design and they don't come in 2T or 3T...but we give in if we can find the 3T's in the cool designs even if they are a bit of droopy draws....you just have to give into that too it sounds!!!

OH Congratulations!!!!!!! That's so very awesome!!!!

We've been day trained since this summer... Pee is going GREAT. He wont pee in a pull up (when he's out and about) and he's even used a public washroom But poop is still a VERY big issue. He keeps doing it in his undies But one day he'll get it... I hope! hehe He's also been waking up in the morning completely dry

YAY!!!!!

Taylor will go in her potty chair, pee or poop, every time as long as she's not wearing underwear... she has to have nothing on I have undies for her and she wears them and even repeats back to me what I tell her over and over "we don't go pee pee or poop in our underwear ok? Mommy wears underwear too see? Babies wear diapers so tell mommy when you have to go" and she said "mommy, I have to potty!" and I say yep, tell me just like that. Then she ends up peeing in her underwear and says uhhh ohhh mommy, pee pee in underwear She's really good about poop and refuses to do it in anything but her potty chair now LoL.

Thanks ladies!

Lisa and Steph--sounds like Taylor and Curtis are doing great! Liam was afraid to poop on the potty at first, had to warm him up to that idea.

Keri--yup, droopy drawers are a common occurance around here. LOL Liam has just outgrown most of his 2T/3T underwear (why can't they make separate 2T and 3T?) so I had to get him 4T and they are huge! I had to take in the waistband on all of them! At least I'm not buying underwear all the time--they wear the same size for years! LOL
