Ok for starters, I live in the same town as the Roloff's - but rarely bump into them. I mostly see them driving around, my dad saw Matt's dad at home depot a few weeks ago. We were shopping today and she came to our checkout line. I had Ian in the cart facing the line of waiting people (she was right behind us) and I knew I could see his little brain ticking away. This is the first little person hes ever seen before, so it kinda threw him off. She smiled so big when she noticed him looking/smiling at her (remember, she is a mother of 4, and used to be a preschool teacher) I told him "why dont you ask her what her name is" so he did, and she said "My names Amy, whats your name?" He had said his name but she didnt hear him, and she proceeds with "Ohh I know, your names fred? no? Bob?" And she started laughing. I had gone ahead to pay for the grocerys and he goes "mom, why is she so little" practically whispered it to me, and I had to remind him that we watch her show, and he goes "ohh yeah!" So they spent the rest of the time smiling and laughing at each other, it was so cute! In the car, Morgan had asked who she is, and Ian had said "shes Amy, shes a little guy" I busted up laughing, and said "thats right bud! Amy is a little person!".....anyways, just wanted to share

Hi--Just popped in here to read your post when I saw the title as I was scrolling down. I just love LPBW. So nice to hear that she was so sweet in person. Seems they haven't been struck by the reality tv curse--and hopefully never will. Have you ever been to their farm? If I didn't live the whole way across the country, I would love to go for pumpkin season!

How cool! We've talked about taking a drive down to their farm to get pumpkins. Maybe we will next year, and we can meet up with you too!

Mom to Seamus (7.18.06) and Kieran 4.8.09). Seamus has Aspergers, SPD, Lazy Eye and is also Color Deficient/Blind, basically he doesnt' see green or red. I'm still learning more but feel free to ask me about it if you have any questions!

Justine that would be so fun!! and Ill have the baby by then!! A big pumpkin pow-wow - although...their farm is really commercialized - its hard to park and get through the lines...
