I got a text from Christine!! Her water broke at 11:30 her time and she is at the hospital now, on pitcoin. her contractions are 3 minutes apart and getting hard to breathe through!
Easy labor vibes to her, i bet we hear about baby Lyla arriving before too long!
Update 8:10 eastern:
Just got nubain for the pain, feeling the pain really bad. Only dilated 1.5 cm so they are upping the pitocin
Update 9:20 eastern via facebook:
Lots of pain!! 70%/1.5/-2
Update1 pm EST:
had to get epi, pain level was too bad due to upping pitocin. She's 3CM 80 Effaced and -3 Station.
Update 2:30 pm EST via facebook:
At about a 6 or 7
Update at 7:20 pm EST:
At 9.75 with a small lip. Exhausted.
Update 8:40 pm EST:
Stuck at 9.75. Giving her one more hour or it's C-section time.
Update 11/24:
lyla mckenna arrived at 8:12 pm PST on 11/23, weighing 7 lbs 7 oz!
Lyla finally has arrived! Christine ended up with a c-section under general anesthesia, she's disappointed about that but they are all doing well and that is what really matters. They are trying to get the hang of breastfeeding and Christine is completely in love wiht her little girl.
