*waves* I am so bad about posting. I lurk constantly though (as any of you who have me on facebook know that I am almost always online with my desk job).
Today is my last day of work before maternity leave and honestly I am proud of myself for making it this far working. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow. I kept setting little milestones for myself along the way: can't have baby before mom gets back from vacation on 11/16, can't have baby before the bid opening for my bridge project on 11/18, can't have baby before husband's concert on 11/22, can't have baby before last day of work 11/25. I made it! Haha. Glad to see the babe in the belly listens to me thus far. I don't expect it to stay that way forever.
My last appointment at the OB went well (on Monday), he said I am 1cm dialated and 80% effaced, "any day now". I have my next weekly appointment on Monday 11/30 and then one more scheduled for Monday 12/7. He says he would be shocked if I make it to the 12/7 appointment.
I have been very sore and achy, especially in my hips. But I guess that is par for the course! The carseat is installed, the labor bag and hospital bag are both packed, and the nursery is all set other than the curtains. Pictures of nursery to be posted as soon as the curtains go up ! I am so happy with the way it turned out. Definitely my favorite room in the house.
Speaking of pictures I haven't taken a belly photo in a whle. I better get on that before it's too late!
Any day now!!
Oh and for those of you who read this far and want to GUESS THE SURPRISE... I set up a poll over at www.expectnet.com (Game Name: BabyMercier).
Calculated due date by LMP is 11/29, calculated due date by O is 12/3, ultrasounds have varied from 12/3 to 12/5. Heart rate has varied from 142 to 162.

I'm glad everything went well and that you made it past all your milestones LoL! YAY for maternity leave! Can't wait to find out what you're having. When I click the link it says page not found but maybe it's just my computer. What do you feel like you're having?

Yikes!!! I can't believe you are due any day now! I'm thinking boy too but I'm not very good at guessing.

Thanks for letting me know the link is broken. It should be fixed now.
My gut from the start has been saying boy but I am starting to second guess myself. Only time will tell!

Bumping Michelle's post, do you have anyone that will be updating us on the progress of your birth. You know we cant just wait until days after you have him/her for an update. We'll have driven out to you by then lol

DH will most likely be updating my facebook for me from his iphone, that's the plan at least. Any posts there are free to be posted here. If someone wants to take the lead (who is the next most addicted to facebook after me? *jenjen*?) and agree to do the thread let me know! Alternatively/additionally, if I am allowed to use my cellphone I can text updates to someone.
I won't make you wait days, don't you worry!
