So I went to the doctor yesterday and they did an ultrasound. I'm about 3 1/2 weeks along and have an appointment the 16th although I really didn't like my doctor and don't want to have him for the entire pregnancy if this bean sticks so I am going to call and try to change doctors before then. Also, he only works on Wednesday and I would just rather have a female doctor.

I've been cramping and spotting so I'm not sure the bean is a sticky one. I'll update you girls either way. I think if it doesn't work out we might not try not prevent but I'm not sure. I'm sort of just hoping this one sticks around and I don't have to worry about it.

Cramping and spotting are very normal... brown & pink spotting is fine... AF type cramping is fine... anything stronger or red bleeding, see your doc asap. I spotted for 3 weeks after my BFP at 14DPO.

I'm sorry to pick this up... but it'll make you smile...

Lots of sticky dust! Just so you know, I had spotting, cramps, even bright red bleeding with clots, and I'm now 38 weeks pregnant! My spotting and bleeding all came from my cervix.

Good to know. Thanks for all the support girls. When I first found out I was terrified to have a baby and now I'm terrified something bad will happen. Its amazing how just a few days can change my ideas.

Sticky cement coming your way!! I know the first trimester can make you so anxious, but cramping and spotting can be totally normal. I hope all is well in there.

Oh... as a side note, I have an appointment on the 16th as well!

mega sticky dust coming at u!
i hope you can get in with a good doc soon. have u thought about a midwife? not 100% sure how it works where u r but my experiences with them by going with SIL were awesome. Very personal and professional care, and they deliver at the hospital or home.

I don't think our insurance will cover a midwife unfortunately. I am going to call my obgyn office and see what doctors are available.
