Thanks girls! It went okay I think. he was smiling and we were talking about how to make it work before I took Gem to daycare. He said he felt half YAY! and half ***?! Once I got back from taking Gem to daycare he brought up the A-word once and i told him NEVER. I would rather be a single mom to two than do that. He let it go and then started rubbing my belly so I guess he's getting used to the idea. I will see how he is acting after he wakes up and get a better read on the rollercoaster he must be on right now! I'm up and down too. It's just scary (and exciting!)! I couldn't resist POAS twice more. i bought a 2 pack of FRER and a 2 pack of digi's. Both the FRER and the digi were positive! I guess I will do the other FRER this weekend for comparison and save the digi for a 'peace of mind' pee in a week or two!

I'm glad it went pretty well considering his feelings a few weeks ago. I support you 100% when it comes to the A-word usage and your decision should it have come to that. I hope he's still cool with it once he gets up from his nap. Good luck!

I'm sending mega positive vibes your way.

My BD bought that up too... The "A" word. Sometimes, esp if they look at it as a "F*** what am I going to do?" "I cant afford it" "Its going to make life more complicated" kind of thing, they feel that "A" will make their worries go away. But it wont make our worries go away. Shoot if we keep our babies or not, the worries will never go away.

Since you guys are together, love is strong and you guys were knowingly NTNP, he was probably just trying to see where your head was and if you had given any thought to it at all. But since you're not going for that, he more than likely will NOT ask you about it again.

I know when Will first mentioned it, I said "HE!! NO!". And then I was so scared, didnt know how i was going to manage financially and him and I werent doing well so I had actually given it some thought (only about 2 seconds worth of thought). And then I was like "I'll file for bankruptcy, do a short sale on both of my properties and/or move back home (<--- thats was like a last option) before I deny this child a right to live. And I told him that he doesnt have to take care of this child since its my choice to keep it. But he wouldnt dare NOT be a father to his child planned or not. And then I had given more thought to it and moving back home didnt seem such a bad choice after all. He was down with that 100% b/c he knew it would be easier and better for all of us, esp our child. I also decided to short sale one of my properties.

As far as POAS I did it at 5 and 6 weeks just to see the test line darker than the control line. I didnt know how dark it could get lol. Plus I wanted to make sure I was still prego as I hadnt had many symptoms until 9 weeks.

Mars, i guarantee he will come around. Before he brought up the A-word, he got mad because I called the baby 'it'. He was like "I can't believe you just called our baby an IT!" I think the A-word just came from the news really sinking in, a knee jerk reaction. I actually went into the bedroom and started throwing clothes in a garbage bag to go to my sisters for a bit and he took it off me and promised not to mention it again. I really think he didn't mean it. Just shock and terror. We really aren't in the best place financially and our house is only 2 bedroom but we can make it work and he will see that!
