Gag me! lol.. I'm watching Jett today and he is on formula. It is sooo different than BM poop. It's GREEN and like paste. The smell is BAD. lol.. I put his diaper in a bag and I can smell it all the way across the house! Oliver poop always smelled like buttery popcorn to me.

BTW I don't want anyone to think I'm talking bad about formula! What ever works for each baby/mom!

That's interesting. Conner NEVER had a poop like that and he's been formula fed since birth. I guess it's different for each baby?

You got lucky! I'm guessing it would be different depending on the baby and maybe the formula brand? I have no clue. This is brand new to me.

I know for older people that green poo is too much iron, maybe the baby's formula has too much Iron for him?

Ky, my nephew's, is a light brownish but super thick and smelly (again I think its the kind of formula hes on). The baby I babysat when Seamus was younger had pellet poos...yes like a deer, they were tiny round balls, they stunk but not like Ky's, but I think the balls weren't normal

I know, formula poop smells waaaayyyyy worse than BM poop. When I had to supplement Liam it was so nasty but once I could relactate and get him off it he had his nice poops back again. LOL

My boys' BM poops always smelled like soft pretzels! LOL

Alice's poop has never been like that, and she is now exclusively FF. Her poop hasn't changed a bit from BFing to supplementing to FFing.

The only time her poop was pretty yucky was after she had sweet potatoes.

Dustin always has nasty poops after spending the night with Grandma (he gets formula during that time).

Yes I much prefer the popcorn smell to formula poops haha.

Ugh.. another big smelly poop again today while watching him. I have to take that diaper out to the garage. Today I realized that it has a strong iron smell to it.

Awh Shannon, Dustin won't smell Jack's poopy diapers so I have to chase him around the house with it. I always think it smells like some sort of baked good. I will see if buttered popcorn fits the bill at his next diaper change.

Jack started getting smelly farts sometimes just the other week. They rival my preggo farts!

Sorry about the nasty diapers Resi! lol
