I had my 30 week appointment yesterday. All is well! BP great, baby measured perfect, and my labs from the glucose test and blood counts were all normal. My Dr. said I'm as healthy as a horse I hope it stays this way. I thought for sure she'd say something about my weight. I've gained 24 lbs so far, but she said she thinks that is perfect! I think it is b/c she is pregnant too She really understands being pregnant.

I haven't had any swelling yet (knock on wood), but working my 12 hr shifts is getting a lot harder. My big belly makes it hard to move around our small patient rooms and just being on my feet all day is tiring. I'm still trying to keep up with walking and swimming on my days off.

Our nursery furniture will be here soon. I have the rocker coming in tomorrow and the rest should be in next week or the week after. I'm getting impatient though and I want her room together NOW! I will be much more relaxed when everything is set up and unpacked.

My next appt isnt until 34 weeks. That seems forever away, but I shouldn't complain as some people in my DDC have to go weekly now.

Bonus...updated belly pics too!

What! 15-20lbs total?? Your OB must be a man . I still have 10 weeks to go, so I imagine I'll gain around 40 total. Anything under 50 I'll be fine with.

Glad everything went well!! My OBs and midwives said 25-30lbs is normal. I think it depends on what you are before pregnancy though. I gained 29 with Taylor and 26 with Rylie. I hate watching that scale go up but at least it's for a good cause

Ugh, I know. I just HATE HATE HATE them. They feel like pantyhose from hell. I'm trying to hold out until I start swelling.
