I am about to complain a little. I had contractions last night from 8pm-4am, and they were getting more and more regular and painful. I tried to sleep through them but couldn't, they really hurt, and started coming every 2-3 minutes. Eventually at 4am they started to fizzle and I passed out and slept for a good 4 hours. Luckily no work for me, snowday, and E had a snowday, so I was able to stay in and relax.
The thing is, I am still really uncomfortable. I did lose my mucus plug, no mistaking it! I have a lot of pressure/pain in my pelvic area, and it feels like Kylie is pushing on my cervix. And I've been getting random contractions allll day, they have not let up, but nothing consistent. As soon as I sit down I get so much pressure in my pelvic area, and usually get a contraction, and the same thing as soon as I stand up. I am really not a happy camper, physically. I took some tylenol, but still having the pain. I have been spending the day sitting around relaxing, but I am afraid of these continuing and having another sleepless night. I'm almost wondering if I should go to the hospital if I'm still feeling like this tonight? I just don't want another sleepless night like last night, and I know if I went they might break my water or start pitocin, so I can get things going. I'm just in so much pain, I can barely walk around.

Ali, if it was me, I'd go get checked at least, if this continues. See if you are making any cervical progress.
I hope she comes tonight for you xxx

December 10th sounds like a great birthday to me! I don't mind our little ones sharing a birthday.
Good luck to you Alison! I hope Kylie's delivery is an easy one and that you get some comfort in the mean time!

Definitly go get checked, you never know! Your water may break on its own and no need for pitocin! KUP if you can!

I agree with going in to get checked! You might be like 8cm dilated and not even know it b/c you're waiting on contractions.
