Do you use a baby gate? What brand is it? Does it work well with your door frame?

I need to buy 2 gates. And our trim in giving us a hard time with the cheapo gate. Was wondering how the pressure gates do. Hopefully we can find something that doesn't need to be installed into the wall.

I have 4 baby gates but only use 1 at the moment. I just went and looked at it but there's no brand name on it So I couldn't tell you which brand it is but it works well. I even added a hook so there would be extra protection since it's at the top of the stairs.

I have the wooden pressure one, you can sometimes stretch out the wood to make it fit - but like you said, their cheap - so invest in a few

I also had the XT ones, with 6 sides, their handy cuz you can use just 2, or all 6

We had a pressure gate for the dogs and it ripped the paint off the walls and then it started to bow from its own pressure so it didn't want to stay put. We then switched to a wooden expandable one that installed into the wall on one side and had hooks on the other side to hold it shut when in use. That one kept the dogs contained. When we took it down it only took a little bit of mud to fill in the holes from the screws. We sanded the spots and painted them and you can't even tell it was ever there. The indents from the pressure gate, however, are still there.

We have 2: 1 at the top & bottom of the stairs. Both are Lindam Easy Fit Plus gates. I love them, sooooooo easy! Not sure if you guys get the same brands though

I use 3 of them. I have the worlds worst stairs, 3 spiral stair cases right on top of each other. They suck and I have to gate them all off. I have safety first ones and I think they suck lol but its the only option I had here.

We just have one gate up.. That's to keep Adriana out of the room where the cat box is.. It's a pressure gate and it's one of those inexpensive basic gates..

We have stairs, but Adriana only goes where we are and she's a pro at going up and down stairs.. But when A.J gets mobile, we probably get the ones you mount into the wall.. It seems more studier..
