Ok so steph asked if Im to "open it up like a gift" on christmas - and I said yes, well as a christmas card. And it donned on me - I wanna gift to open How do I do this without them telling me?? Can I maybe have the $$ shot with the title "ITS A......" put in a box and have them tape it shut, and Ill wrap it?! I promise I wont look!! how else can I do this??? Im so excited!!! 11 days!!!!

have them put it in an envelope and then have your husband without peeking, wrap it up for you both to open on Christmas morning

I know but I wanted a actual gift like a box to rip paper off of I was thinking of a christmas card, and them right girl or boy but I wanna unwrap something

The only thing I can think of is what Christen suggested.

I don't know if it would actually work... but you could wrap two gifts, one boyish and one girlish. Give them both to your Doctor and let him choose the correct gift with out you looking. He can mark it with a sticker or something. Then you can open them or just the one or whatever on Christmas.

Just an idea.

You can purchase the Christmas card, take it and let them write it in it. They will then seal it and give it to your DH and he will keep it so you can't peak at it. You can then go on to make it into a gift.

The 1st thing that came into my head was maybe take two boxes that are identical with one a pink vest in the other with a blue vest in and ask the Dr to write on the correct one "To be opend on Xmas day" and then give the other box to someone you know who wont open it before hand

I like all of your idea's!! I think that well just do the envelope idea, and just dress it up ahhh Im soo excited and also found out my best friend is pregnant also, due in september!!!!! Makes it even more fuuuun!!!

I saw on JM someone had the ultrasound tech put the ultrasound pic and what the gender was in a sealed envelope. Then the couple took the envelope to a cake maker and had a cake made with either blue cake inside for a boy, or pink for girl. Then they cut the cake open together to see which it was! Afterward, they also opened the envelope and still had the pic. It was great! They made a party out of it, had family and friends over and videotaped it and everything. I am so doing this when we have another!

Im to cheap for cake, but that is a fabulous idea!!!! I wonder though...If I can have a friend make me one...hmmm...just my luck Ill drop it taking it from the Jeep into my moms house and find out that way
