I think I'm feeling the baby move now! It's so surreal. I've been feeling little flutters for a week or two, but nothing constant. Yesterday, however, baby was going to town! He (yeah, we call him he... that's DH's fault) was moving around all day long. I hope I continue to feel him. The other day I swear he did a flip, it felt so weird! It wasn't a poke, it was definitely a turn.
How long after you feel the baby move can you feel it from the outside?

Sooo Exciting!!! I felt kicks/punches (I never felt flutters) from about 15w5d. I started to feel her from the outside around 17.5 weeks. At my 18 week 3d ultrasound she was moving and kicking and I felt each and every kick and punch. SO didnt feel her until about 21 weeks

I don't remember exactly when (I'd have to check my journal) but it's such a wonderful experience.

YAY, it's the most amazing part of pregnancy I think I started seeing baby move outside the tummy around 18 weeks or so. Nothing major though... those come a little bit later

Thanks ladies! I didn't realize you could feel it from the outside so early. I'm anxious for DH to feel it, of course.

Yeah! We scheduled the gender u/s for January 12th. The OB refused to do it before 20 weeks, or I'm sure we could have found out for Christmas. Oh well, it is good timing anyway because I will be seeing all of my family in January anyway between weddings and birthdays.
Baby wasn't quite as active today as he was yesterday, but I can still feel him! I hope this is the beginning of being able to feel him consistantly! OH! And I had a doc appt today, he is quite comfy in there... nice strong heartbeat at 146bpm. I got the spina bifida test done since the doctor said there are things they can do to help if baby has it, but opted out of the downs syndrome test.

Aww, how exciting! I think it was several weeks after I felt the first movement that Dh could feel it from the outside. I'd have to go back and look to be sure.

Awe, the first movements are sooo nice! I wait to say I was 24 weeks or so before DH could feel anything. Even now its hard for him to catch her moving. As soon as someone feels my belly she goes to sleep
