So DH has finally iced our christmas cake and it looks and smells delish!!
We've had the acutally cake made since like september and we've been feeding it with brandy since then.

Call me an idiot, but what kind of cake can you have made since september and feed it with Brandy to keep it alive?? I'm just curious, I've never heard of that. It is beautiful though! Very wintery.

 Beth; Gary assures me it wont effect Mia if she has a slice, Im not so confident so she isnt having a peice - I saw how much alcohol went into that small cake!

yup, Its a fruit cake, Made in september; the type of cake it is as long as its fed well can last years!
