Bye bye condoms! We have decided the risk of getting pregnant with ntnp is pretty low. Afterall, we didn't get preggers before on our own after 3 years of ntnp! It is a gamble I feel comfortable with. How about a poll?!
Whose else is ntnp?

We're doing the same thing -- never got pregnant on our own for 3 years soooooooo lol. If we have another the way I see it, i saved 3,000 dollars! (Cost of my FET)

As long as you are prepared for the fact that you *could* get pregnant the first month, I say go for it!

Yes Krista, that is bad!
I know there are stories of people that do get pregnant, but I bet those stories are of people with unexplained infertility. I don't think that will happen to me. I mean, what are the odds? Besides, our RE told us we would not be able to ever get pregnant on our own, so I should acccept that now instead of holding out any hope that it could happen.
Aren't I good at rationalizing?

Ditto to Sarah. My friend was approved for adoption and got pregnant right away. Not to mention my ob/gyn said I had almost no chance of getting pregnant on my own and here we are! So I say you are now doomed to pregnancy!

I voted "get ready for another"....there is ALWAYS a chance an egg will break loose and after you have one alot of women's fertility is "jumped started".....so I hope it doesn't take very long for you and you get preggers!!!

I am terrified of NTNP. Our chances are a bit different though.

There's always a chance..
We take the gamble...sort of. Sometimes just DTD and other times pull and pray, which isn't quite NTNP to me. We also don't DTD that often and no AF for me so I really doubt it. If for some reason I got preggo right now it would be sooner than what I'd like but it would be okay. So I say it's doubtful but you never know! So you have to be prepared that it *could* happen.

Im just gonna say that my SIL has 4 year old Triplets. They tried for about a year to get Preggo and It didn't happen. They did Invitro. The Doc told them that they woudn't get preggo cause his Sperm does off before they get there. Well, they decided last summer to have another. But they were just gonna "Try" and see whats happen's. Well she changed her mind and said she didn't want to have another. She's now Due in March. Got Pregnant one THE FIRST TRY! lol, so there's ALWAYS a chance even If you had problems before.

I also said get ready for a baby
we were ntnp for Kieran and I didn't even have af, and was told that we wouldnt' be able to get pregnant on our own (seamus came because I was given progesterone to force af since I wasn't getting one and my ob required me to have one to get on bc after our m/c).

I voted "get ready for another!"
For us and our sitution there is no such thing at NTNP I'm such a control freak I KNOW that I would try to swing things in the "pregnancy" direction. I know when I ovuate just by feeling and CM and I know for a fact that I would be trying to seduce DH around that time. hehe.

I picked the last 1! I have low thyroid function and am in the beginning stages of PCOS and my doctors told me it would take me a while to have kids. I got pregnant with Taylor the 1st month NTNP and got pregnant the 1st month TTC with Rylie. Proof doctors don't know everything So just be prepared of the possibility that it *could* happen and that, at the earliest, your kids would be 15 months apart
