HA! Today was the day!
And I have a few answers!
So, I saw this awesome allergist -- basically he tells me I have the worst case of dermatographia that he has ever seen. (For more on it go here:
Dermatographic urticaria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) 4 hours ago, he scratched my stomach with the back of a q-tip stick, and the lines are STILL there. He said they are supposed to go away within an hour. Mine were so raised and red and itchy at the hour mark he was shocked - he was calling in the nurses to look at it lol.
So, next we allergy tested -- Old school style!! My arm was poked and smelly things were placed on it.
We tested for about 70 things.
I am allergic to: Bermuda Grass (basically most of the grass on Long Island....), peaches, cherries, crab and get this: Coffee.

Who the heck is allergic to coffee?! I am not allergic to cats which was surprising to me. Now, it just tested for Coffee -- I am not certain if that means chocolate too.
I have about 10 or so viles of blood that need to get taken -- he wants to run all this allergy blood work and panels and yada yada yada. I had done my own CBC at work (complete blood count) and my Eosinophils were high. Basically, those are high for 3 reasons. 1) Parasitic infection (i dewormed myself just in case about a month ago.. i do work in a vet hospital and one of our doctors had tapeworms and hookworms herself -- i touch parasitic poop all day) 2) Addisons or Chrons disease 3) Allergies. When i told him about that he added 20 more tests on
So after the bloodwork if its normal -- then we are gonna do the patch test. He gave me a strip to put on my arm to make sure i can actually wear the test for 3-7 days. Since i have a problem with adhesives. If the bloodwork is NOT normal, then more testing will have to get done.
Other then that, everything else is ok!
