you may have seen my facebook status - But OMG Its such a magical experience being pregnant during this season. This is my first pregnancy during christmas, and I really didnt know what I was missing out on! Im super emotional today We were watching "The Polar Express" this morning and I must have cried 6-10 times. parts of the movie reminded me how special this time of year was for me as a child, and seeing my kids go through that same magical experience I had, of believing in santa. The christmas lights, the town all decorated, the snow.....ok well waiting for it to snow, and forgetting about the snow when you see the presents under the tree.... I love it all. This year, I have really come back to this holiday. Im so happy I have children, and I am grateful for another daughter coming this next spring they are my everything, and the reason christmas is so special...

Aww, I was right where you were in pregnancy a year ago! It was so great being in the 2nd tri, knowing the gender and having that baby inside. What a special time.

I wish it felt that special for me! I think the fact that you know you've got another daughter and you can feel her move makes it better! I just feel fat and yucky! Merry Christmas Bethy!

I sometimes feel the same. I have heartburn/acid reflux and cant drink any liquor or wine which is a huge bummer b/c everybody will be drinking except for me. But I'm definitely looking forward to next Christmas as my 1st Christmas as a new mom.

I felt that way until today. I feel huge and I'm sore and my hormones are going crazy. Everything I tried to bake today was so messed up and it made me cry. And then my Daddy called and that made me cry more because I'm SO HOMESICK and I want to see MY family too, not just DH's (normally we take a red eye out to NC Christmas Day night and then stay for New Years).

But I am looking forward tomorrow and seeing DH's family, they always make me feel good about my huge belly. And I keep thinking about how next year we will have Nolan with us and he will be crawling around and chewing on wrapping paper.

I totally understand where you're coming from. Christmas with my girls beats out ANY Christmases I've ever had. I also cried at the Polar Express this year. This is the first year Taylor understands Santa and all last night she wouldn't stop yelling "mommy, Santa come on Jesus birthday and open presents!!" The excitement on her face and in her voice is beyond words. This time of year is so magical and I can't wait for her to wake up this morning!!!

gahhhh you're all right...this is awesome...I was pregnant both times during Christmas and it is magical...but I'd say a zillion times more magical though when your kids start understanding. This Christmas has been the most fun by far - Harrison is 3 1/2 and really really knows what's going on...to the point that I have to be on my toes or he'll catch us in our story! Last night Harrison and I (David had to work and got off early this morning) put out treats for Santa...he left him an apple cause he said Santa needed something healthy since all the kids were probably giving him cookies....you should have seen his face when he saw that apple core on the plate this morning. When he was all done opening his gifts he looked up and yelled "thank you Santa for all my presents!" I was so proud to have such an appreciative little boy!!!!

OH and last night I let him stay up late with me and we tracked Santa online and also checked online to see if he was on the "good list". It was an adorable website!!!!
