So, we told our families today which went really well. Everyone seems excited so of course as soon as we get home I notice I am spotting which makes me paranoid but what really makes me worry is the fact that up until a couple of days ago my BBs were really sore and I was having considerable morning sickness, then all of a sudden I feel fine except for being a little extra tired. Is this normal? I feel like we jinxed ourselves. The spotting is brown but its more than I've had in the past. I've been having some cramping the past few days but didn't really think to much of it.

I didn't have any real symptoms until I was 6wks gone, then it was indigestion.... except for brown & light pink spotting until 3wks after I got my BFP!

What colour is it?

I'm sure you're bean is fine. Brown spotting seems to be totally normal. Call your doc see if you can get checked. Until then rest and relax! I'm so glad telling your family went well!

I had tons of icky brown blood at first. And my symptoms changed up daily. Don't worry too much but still bring it up to your doctor.

The brown spotting seems to be normal and a lot of ladies have it. Try to relax as much as you can. (((HUGS)))

The symptoms can definitely come and go, mine did. I never experienced cramping or spotting but plenty of ladies in my ddc did and they are fine. I don't think it is anything to worry about unless you have red spotting.

I know the first trimester is so difficult because of all the worrying, but I really think you are okay. I'm glad everything went well with your family!

If you're really concerned call your OB just to be on the safe side that way you can be reassured and possibly hear/see your bean again.

Glad telling the fam went well. Also I got NO symptoms until about 9 weeks then m/s hit me like I ran my car into a house.

If its brown then I think youll be ok. I had spotting for about 3 weeks to 6 weeks and at 7 weeks I started to bleed red blood. In the end though baby was fine and the spotting stopped shortly before 8 weeks. Check with your Dr might ease your mind though but know not all spotting/blood ends in a bad result.

I hope the spotting has stopped or slowed down for you... if I was you I would probably get into the doctor for a quick u/s or at least a doppler just for peace of mind... but that's just me, I could never get enough u/s action lol. It doesn't sound serious to me but I know that until you see or hear that little heart beating again you can drive yourself nuts with worry. I also remember the symptoms coming and going, it would make me so paranoid. One day I'd be sick as a dog or my boobs would feel on fire, and the next day I'd feel totally fine... and after a period of time with no symptoms I'd be ready to call my doctor, only to have some other symptom pop up, or get the m/s back with a vengeance. Pregnancy is so unpredictable, those hormones are up and down all the time, and it's definitely not an exact science the way our bodies react. Anyway I am sending you positive and sticky vibes and will be waiting for an update.

Spotting has stopped and today I feel awful, so I guess thank God for small blessings. Haha. I'm out of town and can't get in to see my doctor until the 6th so I suppose I can't wait until then. I'm trying to take a what will be will be attitude with this pregnancy and do my best to give le guppy a good start.

Glad it stopped!

Do what I do when I use to get worried. Just rub on your belly and talk/sing to your baby that mommy's here for them and that everything is going to be alright and to hang in there b/c mommy really wants to meet them in the future and that mommy is going to take care of them and mommy loves them.

The 1st tri is so worrying b/c of the risk of a m/c. I would talk to her all the time to give her reassurance that I'm here for her.
