AF can't be here already can she?! I went to the bathroom, and there was brown spotting in my underwear. I checked my cervix, and it still felt closed, but there was a LOT of blood in there. Probably more than just mere spotting. What the hell is going on? I've had spotting for AF start at 9dpo, but not 7dpo. Maybe the flu is messing me up?

The cycle before I got knocked up with Nora I started AF at 4dpo....and I was totally prepared to have to deal with luteal phase problems and getting it all straightened out - but then - tada..Nora. So don't lose hope!

I've had a couple cycles with early spotting like that. As long as it isnt every cycle I wouldnt worry too much about it.

I had swine flu earlier this month and I have a sinus infection right now. My period lasted longer than normal, my temps are weird, and I've spotted, some of the times it's been closer to bleeding brown blood, several times this month. I think it's the illnesses, blah!

I'm sure the flu can definitely throw your cycle off. Then again it could be IB? With the timing, it could be either one, so it is hard to say.

It could be either the flu messing your cycle up or.....Implantation bleeding!! I had it for the first time ever last cycle for about 2-3 days and it was ALOT of brown spotting not just "spotting"....but it was all brown no pink or red, GOOD LUCk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know Alice... I'm feeling a little hopeful on your behalf. When I had the flu in March my temps were the same as yours and that's when I conceived Dominic... though I have never had IB in 3 pregnancies. I understand not getting your hopes up so I will cross my fingers for you!
