So I haven't posted an update on Nora in a while and thought her 6 month check up would be a good time to do it. She had it yesterday with all her vaccines and what not - her 4 month vaccines were pushed back because of illness so she is actually 6 1/2 months but whateva!
She's 16 pounds 15 ounces.....I thought she was huge - but I compared this to what Harrison was at 6 months - he was 19 pounds 12 ounces

So she's little compared to him...but she's 75-90th percentile...he must have been off the chart

Now he's just such a little guy...its funny.
Anyway - she is doing well...she can sit for pretty long periods of time (finally) but still doesn't roll over. The doctor held her up on her feet and watched her sit and put her on her belly and pretty much said she has "chosen" not to roll over - physically she probably could all on her own since her core muscles seem strong enough to do all that other stuff. HA she's such a diva. She bangs toy on stuff alot now which is cute and she's always laughing out loud at Harrison! So we're suppose to practice with her to get her to do some rolling - however doc said some babies prefer to pass right over that to the standing, pulling up and walking thing. So we'll see how she does as she approaches the crawling months...so far she has no desire to try to get herself up on her hands and knees.
She loves food - anything I can shovel into her mouth and I find her drinking alot less bottle and wanting the food. AAAAWWW she's such a big girl now it drives me crazy. I will need to post some pictures from Christmas here soon....
Harrison is getting big too...on Saturday he has his placement test at Kumon, for the Junior Kumon program...its a supplemental learning center/program cause we find that he seems somewhat bored at daycare with what they are learning (shapes right now and he knows all his shapes already) so we are going to do this so he can keep progressing. Anyone else have a Kumon center near them...my bosses daughter does it and loves it (she's 9). He was really into Santa and Christmas this year which was really really fun, we tracked Santa on Norad and he thought that was pretty wild.....he's so freakin' fun right now at his age and he is really turned into a pretty cool kid! The other night we were getting into bed after reading Wacky Wednesday and he started talking about "remember mommy when you had to go potty in that white bucket at your work...etc etc. that was wacky" I just busted out laughing...cause that was from when I had to do the urine analysis while I was pregnant with Nora and I had to take my pee bucket stuff to work and I was all making a big joke out of it.....that was like a year ago - how do kids remember this stuff...and what made him think of it...I have no idea but it was funny.
Anywho that's it...sorry so long and thanks for reading if you actually got this far
