Haha.. I'm laughing at Lisa's comment because I was kind of thinking the same thing about my mom. My mom is cheap with gift giving.

PLEASE re-gift it back to her!!! Thank god Jasons mom isnt like that, she treats me more like her daughter than she treats Jason like her son! His grandma is like that though...its such a waste. I dont understand people who WASTE their money on stupid gifts, wouldnt you rather buy something that will get used...(even if you have NO money) than buy a piece of crap that will go in the trash? There are still things that will get used that are cheap...like a package of bacon! I honestly threw about 4 things away this past christmas because they were stupid and useless and a waste of space!

You think that's bad. You know why MY mil bought me for xmas. A USED bathrobe. It doesn't even freakin' LOOK new. It's faded, and the terry cloth is all ratty and flat and nasty looking. If she spent $2 on it, she got ripped off. I'd rather she'd just give me the $2 cash. Plus, I already have a really nice fluffy soft bathrobe that I freakin' love. My mom gave it to me about 3 years ago and it's in better shape than this pos my mil gave me. And if they truly didn't have the money, I would understand, but they spends thousands of dollars on their teenage son, buying him an Iphone, name brand clothes, way nicer stuff than I'll probably ever own...so yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all about buying used clothing and stuff, but when you're giving someone a gift, it really ought to be new or at least APPEAR to be new.
Sorry, turned this into my own rant, but I totally understand. What is with MILs?
