Just curious if anyone kept their 2009 resolutions and what your new 2010 ones will be!

Mine from 2009:
1. Get back to pre-babies weight (135 lbs).
I didn't meet this one, but I'm not as far off as I thought I'd be.
2. Limit fast food/eating out to no more than once per month.
Hahahahaha, oh, that's a good one. Might explain why I didn't exactly meet my first resolution.
3. Do a better job at putting money away in savings.
Definitely am getting better! Always room for improvement, though.

New resolutions for 2010:
1. Get my butt in the gym at least twice per week.
2. Attempt two new recipes per month.
3. Have $____ in the savings account by the end of the year.
4. Learn to get up with my alarm, no more hitting the "Snooze" button twenty times!

Share yours!

- Try to lose 15lbs (would be easier if we could all stop being sick for a few days, GRR)
- Buy a house or rent a new place
- Get rid of one of our cars or pay off all credit card debt (one WILL be done this year).
- Go on a small vacation to the beach with the girls
- Get pregnant? Not sure yet..

1) I don't know how much I can control this, but I REALLY want to be back in the working world {soooooo bored and lonely all day, want a part of life that is MY OWN}-- so I guess keep working with the Dr's to contain my neck and the headaches as much as possible

2)To keep losing weight myself and get Mike motivated.

3) B.F.P!!!!!!!

My 2010 resolution is to NOT get Type II diabetes and do at least 2 or 3 5K's with DH and the kids (in the double jogging stroller!)

Just as last year, #1 is to get pregnant.
- Pull out all the stops as far as medical assistance and getting pregnant.
- Try to get healthier and prevent illnesses (like right now)
- increase the number of home made meals i make a week.
- Master the slow cooker
- Add another charity to our charitable giving (already picked one out)
- Add to our weekly church giving

Dh's
- Use the just mommies chore chart to help take care of the house
- Start and ACTUAL emergency savings account.
- Get down to 180 lbs ( went from 215 to 190 in 2009)

But now that my issues seem to be solved and my energy is finally coming back after 8.5mo I would like to finally loose some weight, I weigh more then I did when Kieran was born (10lbs more and I only gained 4.5lbs with her)

Save some money in our savings acct.
MAYBE get pregnant but that is a big maybe.

I didn't really make any, we already have a lot on our plate and have outstanding goals with the new house and baby. I don't think I made any last year either, although my general goals for the year were to get married, get a house, and (hopefully) get pregnant, and we managed to reach all of those! (Though the pregnancy I don't really see as a "goal" reached so much as a dream finally coming true by some stroke of luck mixed with a lot of effort.)

I can tell you some of our general goals we have had for a while, though. We have a lot of reading up to do on babies and birthing. We have to finish our kitchen renovations and do a lot of painting and other odds and ends in the house. And I hope to have time, once I am a SAHM, to become a better cook! I wanna learn more about cooking chemistry.

Don't remember my 2009 goals...(probably not a good sign

For 2010 I want to:

-Have a 20% down payment saved up for our first house (we are halfway there!)
-Get back in shape post-baby. I'd love to be in even better shape than I was pre-baby.
-Save up for some much needed new furniture
-I'll be a SAHM soon, so I really hope to find a niche....maybe start painting or join a moms club of some sort.
-Work on improving relationship with the ILs

I don't remember my 2009 ones, but my 2010 ones are to continue to lose weight, to live purposefully, and to not obsess over trying to get pregnant this year.

I can't remember last year's. I'm guessing I wanted to lose weight but that did not happen. Oh and get pregnant. That also didn't happen obviously.

This year:

1. Well I do want to get pregnant but that's not all up to me so I don't like to put this as a resolution. I'm finally seeing a specialist in Feb. and my resolution is to do whatever he'll tell me to do so I can finally get my bfp.

2. Meatless Mondays!

3. I want to cook at least one new recipe from each of my cookbooks (I have tons of them that I never use).

4. I got a brand new slow cooker and I want to learn how to use it.

5. I'm stealing Kate's: learning how to get up with my alarm. I'm the queen of the snooze button!

Ok, that was a joke. Mostly.

To try out new things
To be less paranoid
To not get pregnant Easy one!
To celebrate life's beauty and wonder everyday. Awhhh, how poetic.
