Wierd AF - any insights?

ok so AF showed on monday but i've just been spotting ever since, like i would maybe go thru one liner a day.... also my bbs are KILLING me. they are like even hot to the touch sometimes, and sooooooo tender. i've never had bb symptoms like that before and usually AF is in full force by now....i usually have 1 or max 2 days of spotting prior to full blown af. do u think maybe i didnt ovulate? i am not preggo - took another test today to make sure (i've been getting hammered like every night so thank god i'm not LOL) what is going on!?

my only guess was pregnancy.... i have no idea. Maybe this isn't AF? Maybe its..... IB! I dunno... are you fresh off the pill?

no i've been off the pill for like a year! so wierd......still just spotting.....

you can have a wonky cycle every now and then, and miss an ov or just have a really light AF......or you could still be preggo....I took a pregnancy test right before I found out about Harrison baking on a Sunday night it was negative....called the doc to let them know it had been past 45 days or whatever without a period...she wanted me to come in for bloodwork to find out why my AF's were so few and far between (her workup included a preg test just to be safe and rule that out)....that was on Thursday then...that pregnancy blood test came back positive!!! So you just never know!

I guess keep temping to see where your at temp wise?

I would say start temping, that would help you figure out where you are in your cycle. My cycle is all weird this month. I have no clue what's going on and if I really even O'ed yet and I AM temping

Ahhh who knows, the monthly cycle is so frustrating LoL.

Maybe you didn't ovulate when you thought you did and it is just break-through bleeding.

thanks for the replies ladies

spotting stopped today, but my bbs are STILL excruciating. i guess theres hope that i could be a prego minx since we did dtd lots but i did get the bfn......the monthly cycle is a total mystery to me this month.....i'm usually so regular....ughhh honestly i'd take AF if it meant my bbs would stop killing me. i do plan on temping again when i get home on sunday so i guess i can start trying to figure out where i am in my cycle then....wish me luck! i guess till then i will enjoy not having AF

usually sore bbs correspond with high progesterone. And it should not be high after AF. I might consider going to get a beta done just in case.

ETA: My period was really heavy yesterday, and nearly gone today... so apparently you aren't the only one with weirdness

Haha, my first thought with the sore bbs was engorgement or mastitis.

i know right! i wish i at least had some food to offer a baby with these freakin painful mammaries! i honestly thought they were infected when they started getting hot feeling but they are just sore now so no worries....i'm sure its fine and my body will sort itself out once i start eating well and not drinking like a fish!

when staying with my IL's a lot of drinking happens!
