So when I picked Harrison up from school he had a party horn and hat he was playing with....his teacher had given them to the kids to take home - however I did not know that and he put it down when I came in and then we left....so when we pull into the garage he goes "Mommy the horn is for you and the hat is for me..." and I'm like, "what horn honey"....and he just starts bawling and he's like "Do you have my hat?" and I'm like dying inside because he's so upset and I didn't even think those were for the kids to take home. So I texted DH when we get inside and ask him to stop at the $ store and get hats and horns on his way home from work.
So DH gets home with hats, horns, champange and sparkling grape juice for Harrison....what a sweetie...and we go upstairs and we watch the 2009 Times Square countdown on Youtube which Harrison though was awesome and was counting and shouting and had his "champagne" in his wine glass and it was just so adorable....we got pics but my camera died then so I can't upload them but I'll try to tomorrow.
It just made me so excited....he's so into this stuff!!! 
So it seems we made up for the big "oppsie" leaving his party stuff at school....doesn't this look like the most fun New Years Eve celebration EVER!
PS pardon Nora's messy face - she just got done inhaling three jars of baby food and Harrison's lip, we beat him..just kidding..he fell at school and bumped into a chair!

Woh, the part where he said the horn was for you and the hat for him and asked where they were totally made me cry. I'm such a bawl baby lately! He sounds so very adorable. I'm glad he had a great night celebrating the new year!

That is so cool he is old enough to understand things and hang out with. And you know he is forming memories he will remember too. I can't wait! Don't forget to give us some pictures

Awwwww how sweet and cute! he will indeed remember this new years (although when he gets older, you'll have to remind him by telling him stories about his first time drinking "champagne" lol
