Freakin fun times yo! I HATE the dentist *sorry morgs!!* Ive had some baaaaad experiences and have said screw you to the dentist before, I kid you not. One even disregarded the fact that I WASNT numb yet, and yanked my mouth open!! HE LEFT A BRUISE ON MY CHEEK!!! So....5 years later I go in because I have a toothache from h e double hockey stick - I was there for 4 hours, 3 xray's and a root canal *drops dead* I did ok, only cried twice...and realized that I was a bit too numb so all the "pain" I was feeling was tingling from being sooooo numb. So anywho - 1 tooth down, 2 to go and a filling...yay go me >.<

Moral of the story - dont wait till your pregnant to get in to see the dentist....even if you hate them with a passion....

I go in tomorrow for my cleaning and check up and to schedule the kids appts......

Ugh, that really stinks! I hope the rest goes fast and easy for you. I so feel you on hating them, I been having dental work done(Because of an accident I was in) for the last year and most of it while pregnant and it's NOT fun at all!

Yuck, root canal! I know I need my teeth cleaned and some fillings. I don't like going either LoL.

I don't hate the dentist but I don't like the dentist either. I do dislike that I have sensitive teeth and they're not very strong. Even with all the cleaning treatments and flossing, if I look at a sweet, I get a cavity.

I'm with Mari, I don't hate the dentist, but I certainly don't like going! I've never had anything major done like a root canal though. The biggest thing I've had was my wisdom teeth out, and I INSISTED they put me out for that!

well this morning...Im not in pain!!! It has turned out to be a really easy thing (yay?) I took some meds last night and havenet needed any this morning!! Now Im still on amoxacilin, so Im taking that faithfully but VERY glad Im not in a world of hurt this morning!!

Im glad everything went well!! Root canals are actually as easy as a filling most times, you just need to hold open longer!! The biggest mistake people make when they are scared is not go!! Thats makes things worse because when they do go, they need root canals and teeth pulled and tons of work!!! Im glad you are getting everything taken care of!! Healthy teeth are so important, especially when you are pregnant!!!

Well Im in a bit O pain this afternoon, its super sensitive, but in order to take my vicodin *Ive been taking the amoxocillin like clock work* I need the headache gone, because narcotics tend to make migraines worse But its ok, Im hoping the tylenol knocks both problems out!! I knew my teeth were bad, I just put it in the back of my mind. And with not being able to take prenatals, Little miss Izzy is stripping me of all my teeth's nutrients!!! hence the REALLY bad cavity that wasnt nearly as bad when I got pregnant!!
