Henry is a nut, he has a fluffy butt!
We started CDing this morning. BTDT moms, I have like 2 dozen BG AIOs, will that be enough? I plan to use disposables at night. And gonna try to not use CD when we'll be out all day.
I've changed one poopy dipe so far and it wasn't that bad! I'm also very surprised with the size of the dipe. For some reason I thought it would be very bulky and his clothes not fit as well. So I'm excited about this, but talk to metomorrow evening when I do the wash for the first time. My biggest fear is ruining the dipes (those things are pricey!) I wish Henry could talk and tell me how he likes the difference
And here are 2 pics just cause I wanna brag about his tough guy face (and his teeth! although he also has 4 up top).

He is so adorable! I'm planning to start off with a dozen prefolds and a dozen AIO's. You'll have to let me know how it works out!

I wanna get a few CDs to try out when we're just lounging around the house.

Isn't CDing fun!!? Don't worry about ruining them - if I haven't yet, you are fine Just avoid fabric softener, use a recommended soap and recommended amount, and have at it! I think 2 dozen is plenty, especially since you won't be CDing at night.

He was alittle nervous, but since he's had this major rash for the last few days he really wants to do the CDing. I've had the collection since before he was born. I've just been too lazy (and scared) to start!

Cutey!!!!
Don't worry about ruining them. They don't even stain honestly. I only have two that have stains (and that was on Hemp? Not sure but it might act differently?), and I think it was do to some medicine Dustin was on for thrush. Just use detergent that's recommended (I use Tide with Dawn) and don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets. I used to hang all my shells to dry and the inserts went in the dryer. Now I'm lazy and throw them all in the dryer on medium heat. Haven't ruined them yet haha.

So cute! What you have will be enough for the time's that you are cding. I only have about 12 pockets, and 6 usable fitteds, and then some prefolds and we cd full time.

I got all mine from amazon.com when I saw sales.
I in no way can give advice haha I hardly know what I'd doing. But the AIOs are easy to use!

Some can be. I've never tried the BG AIO's but I prefer pockets to AIO's cause they aren't as bulky, you can stuff them thinner or thicker(for naps and night), Kieran has better luck wearing her pants in the correct size with pockets then anyother diaper.

That's what I thought at first. But his clothes (onesies and pants) are fitting just as nice. Alittle more snug but not bulky.

Aww! He looks so cute in his fluff. For some reason I never saw you as a CD Mama. I'm not sure why.. maybe because you seem more traditional in parenting styles. I hope you don't take that in the wrong way!
I for one hate CD these days. I feel guilty saying that but I do. I have been buying Earth's Best disposables. I loved CD'ing him as a baby but once he started walking I was over it. AND I hate CD'ing at night mostly. I still use them during the day but not all the time.
