Dont worry, I didnt feel like that until about 9 weeks when I got W/S "Whenever Sickness" but even still I didnt actually feel pregnant until like 16 weeks.

Now I feel like I'm in the cast of Aliens where the alien is moving around and trying to come out of my stomach lol.

Note: Take prenatals at night before bed or with food (not in the AM). I'm still learning this as I took one this morning figuring I'm 6 months so I should be straight. NOPE, got nauseous all over again. UGH!

hell I still dont feel pregnant, unless Isabelle is moving, which is picking up a bit more by the way!! And also, if your planning a home birth - they tend to bring 2 midwifes and a helper along, so its kinda pointless for a doula!! Even in the hospital, the midwife does a whole lot more than an OB would

Hey ladies! i'm back from my appt and it went great. my fam doc is a total moron so it was really just a formality going to him. (i am waiting to hear back from a potential new fam doc) he gave me the standard prenatal blood screenings that they do here (i believe its like syphilis, HIV etc) and also the pregnancy blood test & levels (his words). so i'm assuming that is the beta everyone talks about? anyways the woman taking my blood must have known magic because i'm dead serious it did NOT HURT at all, like I didnt even feel a pin prick!! i have never had that happen before, i told her she was awesome LOL seriously they should give that girl a raise. after my appt i went and got vegan food takeout & picked up some decaf coffee and a tin of my recent tea addiction - coco chai rooibos.

i should find out about the preg blood test tomorrow, i'm not worried about the rest of the stuff but that comes back in like two weeks.

as for the morning sickness, my mom said she never got it with any of her pregnancies and i am basically her clone so i am holding out hope that i will not get it! my poor boobies on the other hand hate their lives right now, i had to dig out an old stretched out sports bra because thats the only thing that doesnt hurt. my boobs have gotten bigger width wise? the underwires dig in now....ow! but yah they just feel like rock hard and pain all the time....but i'm not complaining!

I love your "growing an organic baby". I wish I had that when I was preggo. Yea.. it takes awhile to let it sink in something is in there. Newborn babies are so perfect and sweet. To bad they get big sooo fast!

I'm super excited for you. Glad the appointment went pretty well.

But I should say that none of my sisters (I have 3 older) had morning sickness with their kids or had big stomachs but me, the smallest of the bunch had morning sickness and a big, no huge, stomach. Not, to say that's going to happen to you...but you just never know.

It took me a while to register that there was a separate little human in there too. My boobs also hurt in the beginning but it went away in a couple of weeks, hopefully yours will too! Although it still randomly pops up every now and then.

Glad everything went well!
