I took a little JM break. I was having a really hard time seeing babies Conner's age doing things that he's not even close to doing....it just put me in a panic pretty much constantly so I had to step away to get the fact that all babies do things differently in perspective. I've quit my playroom totally but I missed you guys so here I am.
I saw a few posts asking for updates but since I've been gone a while I figured I'd just make my own (that sounds selfish....sorry! )
Me and Nic: Nic is almost done with training here, he leaves at the beginning of Feb. for 2 months (He'll miss Conners first birthday, so we aren't doing a party, Im kind of bummed) and when he gets home we are moving to San Diego...which I'm pretty nervous about. I don't drive well in big cities. That's really all thats new with us....pretty boring.
Conner: Is 10.5 months old! I can not believe next month I will have a 1 year old!! He still army crawls everywhere, not because he can't crawl normally but he just doesn't like to He's starting to try to pull up but just really has no interest in doing it...I think that's why he does things later than other kids, he just doesn't want to haha. He says mama, dada, nana (for goodnight), up, yeah, and a few other random things here and there. At his 9 month appointment he weighed 18lbs (WOOHOO, totally normal so all his weight issues are gone now) and was 27 inches long. I posted pictures on facebook but I don't have all of you girls on there so I'll put a few here as well
(before the haircut)
Anyway, thanks for looking. Congrats to all the BFPS that happened while I was away, I'm so happy for all of you!

Yay, you are back!
Playrooms can be such crap. All the babies in mine are ALWAYS soooo ahead in everything. I honestly think most of it is made up crap Jack's thing is saying mama and dada - with everything else he is totally typical. What got me the most in my ddc were alll the babies crawling at 6 months (!) and how so many of them were so huge in the weight dept. Just huge. Which is fine, but it makes you think you aren't feeding your baby enough b/c he isn't in the 95% for weight like practically every other baby in there. Whatevah! Sorry for hijacking your thread, lol.
He is adorable, as always, and is looking more like a little toddler and less like a baby So bittersweet. All of our babies are getting so big so fast
As for San Diego - we try and vacation there every summer! You know what that means . . . if you are there and I am there we had BETTER have a meetup Lauren will be here next month, maybe Amy and I can get together, and with you moving closer - Maybe I will hit the JM meetup jackpot! WOO-hoo!!

I'm surprised you aren't more excited about moving to San Diego, that sounds like so much fun! You'll learn big city driving in no time!
I LOVE the Conner pics, he is so darn cute! He looks so handsome in his santa suit.
I did the army crawl thing too! I don't think I ever crawled normally, just went straight from the army crawl to walking. Cool kids do the army crawl, that's what I always say.
I'm glad you guys are doing well. I hope you decide to come back here and post more often! You know we miss you.

When is someone going to come to Pittsburgh?! WAHHH! J/K! I hope you guys all meet up! i can't wait to see pics!
Connor is adorable! I've seen a few FB updates from you but not too much. I'm glad all is well! Gemma was one of those babies that did everything early and, honestly, it stunk! I felt like I never had a newborn/infant. It was like I just automatically got a toddler and she just kept advancing from there. It made me really sad! So enjoy your little boy still being a little boy! They grow up wayyyy too fast! I really hope this baby is more like Connor than Gemma!
Oh and where is the post-haircut pic?

I was wondering where you were! Try not to get too down on yourself about his development. You're right, babies all progress differently. I gotta tell ya, Taylor was the SLOWEST at crawling, getting teeth, standing up, and cruising... it was crazy! I was worried about it too but she's right where she should be now.
He seriously is adorable! I love his little santa outfit

YES!!!! Rachels there too!! SD is not that big of a city, Im maybe an hour away from the San Diego county border..Maybe an hour away from the zoo and all that stuff. Hey maybe we can all plan a Zoo trip this summer..Although with Rachel and I's big belly's in SD In Summer might be a little miserable! MEET UP!!!! Dont worry about not doing certain things that other's are doing. Cambria doesn't do half of the stuff that the babies in her DDC do! She's just on her own way of doing things and maybe Conner's the same way.

I love that first picture of Connor. The zoo would be really fun actually. Balboa park in general is just nice. Maybe we could do like lunch at the Prado or something.

Connor looks just perfect and he sounds like he is doing really well too. Don't worry about what he is and isn't doing. In my PR it's the same thing.. babies are already using the potty .. lol
